Great laptop for a great price
Amazing laptop for a more than fair price! Actually I'm a bit surprised how well this little laptop performs.Pros:- Very fast, faster than I thought it was going to be- Screen is gorgeous, 1080p is the cherry on top- For those that haven't had a 2-1 before, I find it fun and useful at times even if I don't use it too much- Pretty heavy, I like that because it feels like it's better quality. No noticeable flex around keyboard area- I thought "ughhh" when I first felt the trackpad but started to like it within 5 minutes- keyboard feels nice to type on- did I mention fast? This thing is fast- specs on the item page are good, but you can read those yourself- hinges are very solid, almost too solid; its a bit hard to open- power/volume keys on side is helpful- Very little bloatware, only had to get rid of 2 programs that weren't Dell's, Microsoft's or Intel's.- fan inaudible when not doing anything intensive- Doesn't get too hot, even when running 3Dmark- speakers are on the underside but sound fine- was out of stock when I got it, but I knew that. It shipped much faster than amazon predicted and was well packagedCons:- windows 10 home, not pro, but whatev- very slight screen bleed on the bottom of the screen, isn't noticeable when I'm not looking for it though- when the fan kicks up it can make very light ticking sounds. I'm not worried about it.- battery leaves a bit to be desired, batterybar predicts I should get around 4 to 4.5 hours off battery on battery saving settings.CrystalDiskMark reported roughly 535 MB/s sequential read and 184 MB/s sequential write. Wireless speed downloading 3Dmark was the same as my gaming laptop. 3Dmark's Skydiver scored it 2,904 points in the combined test. To compare, my gaming laptop with an i7-4720hq/gtx 960m scored just over 10,000. You clearly shouldn't be getting this to play games but you can probably play moderately intensive games on low settings or more casual games on med to high. If you lower the resolution from native 1080p to 768p then you should be able to play some early 2010s era AAA games on low-med settings. Just don't have too high expectations. Everywhere else the laptop is a champ. Also, its the cheapest sub 15" i5 laptop with an SSD I could find on several sites including amazon, newegg, best buy and more.Edit: After a couple more days with it, I felt I should update. The battery lasted about 5.5 hours from 99.0% with moderate brightness (It doesn't seem to like to charge up to 100%). The fan no longer makes any noise beyond what it should. The backlight bleed seems to have gotten slightly worse, and I'm very mildly concerned about how well the screen/digitizer is attached to the casing.

Poor quality and not safe for keeping work on.
Honestly, I would avoid buying this. Just save an extra few hundred and buy a mac or better computer. I bought this for grad school hoping it would be a safe, dependable computer. The last dell I bought for $400 at Walmart in 2013 is STILL working, and honestly better than this one.I have not even owned this computer a year, and here are some of the problems:1. The audio went out within a month. I had to use headphones to hear sound. Then it magically came back...and now just loses sound randomly.2. It is slow to start up and runs HOT. Leave this thing on for an hour and it starts screaming for mercy.3. When you attach an HDMI connector, for some odd reason it is a gamble on if it will for some weird reason knock out some of my keyboard functions.4. I lose the ability to cut and paste, then restart to fix it.5. The best of all...the power button has now STOPPED working fully. I now have a computer that sometimes will not turn on. Because of the way the laptop is constructed, I cannot go into the inside itself and mess around to start it up. I am going to buy an external drive to back up my files for when that happens.I love Dell, but their quality is just plummeting recently. $800 on a computer that at this rate will be useless in another year. I do a lot of creative work, and I haven't even put programs on this thing because I feel it will be a waste of money. I would recommend buying a different laptop. And whatever you do...don't set this on your lap for long periods unless you want red, slightly burned skin.

A lot of issues, expensive to repair issues,
This was my third Dell computer but my first laptop. This computer has had a lot off issues. First the hard drive crashed. and had to be replaced. There are apparently heat issues with this model of Dell that probably contributed to the crash. Then the start button broke which had to be replaced. The start button is plastic and is attached to the key pad. The entire key pad had to be replaced to fix the computer. If you purchase make sure you have an external drive and back up your hard drive after each use. I could not get my data off the hard drive that crashed without paying a lot of money. This computer is not programmed to start up without the start button working. With other computers there is an alternative like pressing keys. So had to have the computer repaired. The power cord is coming apart at the connector that goes into the computer. The connection when charging is not consistent.I am middle aged and this computer has been treated with care. If you are considering purchasing for a student I would consider another alternative.Long term Dell customer that will never purchase another Dell lap top.

Compact, flexible and fast
Lovely little machine. Solid state drive is very fast. A media card along with SSD gives adequate storage space. Great sound and graphics. Enjoy the ability to transform from PC to tablet.

Insanely good deal!
This was probably one of the best deals I've ever got. An i7 6th gen with supporting 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB SSD for INR 62,500. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it and bought it instantly. The package was delivered within 24 hours and had multiple layers of cardboard packing cushioning it quite well. It was already set up and ready to go. It's beautifully built and the construction feels very premium. It's not as slim or light-weight as an ultra-book and the 360-degree hinge gives it a bigger-than-usual bottom bezel, but when you take into account the kind of power this beast gives you, it all feels worth it.The screen is gorgeous, though it does have some backlight leakage at the bottom and top at full-brightness with a black background. But you have to go looking for it to notice. The keyboard backlight is also quite bright and bleeds a bit, if you are working in the dark. However, the actual experience of working on the laptop makes you forget all this. It's fast, has a great keyboard, and handles anything you can throw at it. I haven't gamed on it and use it mostly for work, and for that, it's more than adequate. The touchpad is massive and sensitive, and the speakers also sound loud and pack a punch. The battery varies between 6 and 8 hours depending on usage. The laptop does heat up when it's charging up from zero or when it's handling heavy tasks, but that's to be expected with an i7. It's not too noise though. The point is, it can do whatever you need it to do.It went out of stock soon after I bought it. I'm not sure if this configuration and this deal will be available any time soon. If it is, then grab it without a thought!

Think before venture into this Dell Touchscreen Inspiron
After doing review of all laptops in premium range finally zeroed on this. I purchased Inspiron 5368 i7 pro 8gb ram with 256gb SSD.Positive - sleek, moderately well finished, fast, good keyboard quality and tablet version is okNegative- weight, display, flickering display during switching from laptop to tablet or vice versa (updating bios fixed it but annoying), no vga or c port and packing is not to the mark.Touch screen stopped working since past few months did all updates and tried all possible techniques mentioned online but failed. For this price ..... will rethink before i recommend this to anyone else

Good product in this price
This price this configuration never got, I was ready to purchase xps 13 , where I need to spent 1.29,000/- I got same configuration in 62,500/- which is like got luck draw, after got product there was small white dot on the screen which I can identify after 4 days, I tried to replace product but dell said until 5 white dot on screen they not replace, then I thought it's okay. So once you purchase please check that problem which you can only identify if open notepad on whole screen. But overall fully satisfied with performance, features, touch etc.
