The story line deals with terrorism and how various factions (Navy SEALS, the FBI and other Federal agencies) try to foil a plot to kill innocent victims. The story revolves around events that are currently happening in the world but is set in Texas. It is a fictional account....but it could easily be a real scenario. And that's what kept me riveted to the book. I've read it several times.The action is realistic, the terminology is up to date and factual to the story line and the characters Laura Griffin has developed. There is violence....but when aren't terrorists and their actions brutally violent. The hero and heroine are strong, complex individuals whose patriotism and dedication to their sworn duties bring them together. Their relationship evolves...into a sexual one. Which works well into who they are and the dangers they face doing their jobs to discover and stop a terrorist plot.I have been a fan of Laura Griffin's Tracers series for many years. I highly recommend reading her books. They never fail to entertain and enlighten me in numerous branches of the military and law enforcement. I also enjoy revisiting some of the characters from earlier Tracer series books. It's like catching up with an old friend at a reunion.Her books give me hope that the war on terror, drugs, home grown militia's and criminal organizations is being won by heroic men and women who lay their lives on the line every day for "us regular people." Thanks to all of them.....and thanks Laura for the great stories...!

I am amazed at how author Laura Griffin merges romance with edge of your seat suspense. This book has it all. Derek is a SEAL home on leave and Elizabeth is an FBI agent tracking a terrorist cell. Derek's last mission and Elizabeth's case are related. When they start workinbg together the sparks fly in more ways than one. This is a page turner that you won't want to put down.

Elizabeth LeBlanc, FBI and Derek Vaugh, Navy Seal try to stop terrorists before they strike. Good story line. Plot moves along at a good pace.
