Secure to the toilet in a couple minutes.. sturdy .. tough.. easy to clean.. just whip it off.. wipe it down with Clorox wipes .. whip it back on and you are good to go( ha)

I waited to write this review until we used the raised toilet seat enough to know. We've been using it for about a month now and it's just what our mother needed but the toilet seat is so perfect and sturdy it's just become our replacement seat for anyone to seat on. Took it right out of the box and just lifted the toilet seat lid and placed it on the bowl and turn the knob to tighten it on and that's it. We now have a tall toilet. Mother can now get up from the toilet easily and onto her walker placed in front of her. She has swelling in her leg from circulation lymph gland problems and has no strength in her leg muscles to get up and down and used to get stuck on the toilet, once we had to call the fire dept. to lift her off. This raised toilet seat did the trick to make the toilet tall for her to just lean forward for her to easily stand up. Our toilet is built against the bathroom sink and has its own corner so we had already had a toilet rail that goes right over the toilet for her to hang onto. It stays on the toilet bowl securely and tight, does not move. It came off easily to clean it but with very little to even clean, mainly on the rim of the toilet bowl itself. So make sure your toilet bowl is nice clean and rim is dried before putting this on. We are very pleased with this raised toilet seat and highly recommend it for anyone who needs a taller toilet.

I am really happy with this hight adjustment. Very comfortable. A must have post a hip replacement surgery.
