3/13/21 Update: still looks and functions the same as the day I bought it. I am seriously in love with his hair brush! As someone with crazy curly hair I always dread the day that I wash, brush and style my hair. Brushing my hair alone used to require a shower comb, Tangle Teezer, wet brush, liberal amounts of conditioning products, 45 minutes and lots of frustration. I came across this one night while looking for new hair products to try out before I chopped my long hair off because I just couldn't deal with it anymore and came across this brush...after reading tons of reviews I said what the hell and ordered. I'll be honest..when I finally got this brush in my hand I laughed at it. It looked very flimsy and my hair has been known to snap brushes in half. When I got around to using this brush come wash day I was in for a big surprise..not only did this brush not break in my hair it worked! I could now easily put my cleansing conditioner in my hair, start brushing and have my hair knot free and brushed out in about 6 minutes total. Do not underestimate this brush till you try it, it has single-handedly saved my hair and my sanity.

I fell in love with this brush for my very fine hair. Doesn't break hair and is virtually pain free brushing after my daily shower. I just purchased my third one! They hold up very well, but my cats adore this brush. If they see me brushing my hair, they yell at me until they get brushed. I didn't want to share so they each got their own. (seriously, they we only $5.99) If they see me with the brush, they will following me around all over the house, jumping up on any available surface to get brushed. It doesn't pull out the cat hair, but boy does the hair come out! Let's face it, if you have a cat - you have a lot of cat hair. You can continually clean it off of everything and vacuum it up or you can brush the cats and throw the hair in the trash can. Get one of these for your cat and will achieve hero status. They highly recommend it! Get one for yourself too, they really are great for detangling.

I’ve always liked this brand and own another model that works great, but this brush is far too fragile. The first one I bought broke near the handle, and although I kept using what was left, I eventually had to replace it. Unfortunately, the second one broke within the first month — and this time it shattered into three pieces. Disappointing, especially for something that falls easily when dealing with curly hair.
