I've been using Leca about 4 yrs. Always purchased from Amazon but this is the first time I'm using this brand. I must say it was refreshing to not have to rinse numerous times until the water ran clear. Very little dust/sediment and was able to rinse the entire bag in less than 1/2 hour. The best part about using Leca is that I'm never get those pesky fungus gnats. That in itself is a game changer for me. One must be diligent in fertilizing as Leca has no nutrients but retains moisture allowing one to travel without worrying about their plants being watered. Get you some Leca. You'll be glad you did!

Had to immediately order another bag! This was the product I didn't know I needed! I used one bag for my cuttings and the other mixed with my potting soil for houseplants. Easy to use and cleaner to work with than soil and moss. A little goes a long way. I'm so happy with the texture of these little balls. They are the size of marbles so they are a good value. I look forward to quick root growth and plant growth, as well as more healthy plants.

I have noticed I have to re water even after soaking for 24 hrs. I am only using this for propagation so I have check water daily but I would of thought it would retain water more then it does.

These work pretty well for larger hydroponics setups like a tomato in a 5 gallon pot. They do out work for smaller settings like herbs in sn Aerogarden type system. The pots don't hold enough of these to support the plant and transport water properly. The plants dry out and starve. Not a problem with the clay, just nit proper for that task.

Using this instead of soil and avoid fungus gnats . Bought some more .

Nice earth tone color, cost worth the quantity, great root nutrition and long lasting adjustable water retention as a porous texture for customary plant growth.

Exactly what I expected. Using it in my hydroponic system.
