no very loud and not enough bass for me

Can you turn the red led down or off?

They only turn off when you turn the nob to turn them off completely. If you want the red light off while they're on you have to disconnect the USB cable which powers the LED.

Can i hook this up to the back of my gaming monitor wired?

Yes, the usb cable goes into your console, the 3.5 audio jack goes into your monitor.
