have not seen her since, due to this book, loving car boot sales and charity shops, her home and her wardrobe has been replenished as has her children's wardrobe , all thanks to Sewing Patterns, so much. Information In this book, great buy.

From the description I really thought that this book would help me to making patterns reflecting the more up to date styles around today. Sadly this is not the case and is really only suitable for beginners in my opinion. Certainly not for the more experience.

When I received this book, it looked so good. When I opened it and started drafting my bodice, it looked so good. Then I got to the part where I had to draft my bust dart.Apparently, according to mister McCunn, my A-cup boobs do not exist. There are no instructions for them at all. It still seems that unless you're, like, a 6 foot tall runway model bordering on anorexia (who get couture dresses made to their measurements) very, very petite figures are not supported at all in educational sewing literature.tl;dr - This book will ONLY teach you how to make sewing patterns if you are of AVERAGE SIZE. If not, YOU'RE SCR*WED.
