Embedded keypad All PIN entries and controls are performed on the keypad of the Aegis Secure Key. No critical security parameters are ever shared with the host computer. Since there is no host involvement in the key’s authentication or operation, the risks of software hacking and key-logging are completely circumvented. Super tough, inside and out The Aegis Secure Key’s rugged, extruded aluminium casing and polymer-coated keypad is IP67 rated as resistant to dust and water. Inside, another layer of protection is added by encasing the inner components with a hardened epoxy compound to prevent physical access to the encryption circuitry.

Faulty device
Very disappointed as the device does not work at all. No lights switch on at all, I have literally tried everything single thing in the Manuel and I even asked someone else to check just to be sure, the device is faulty. For such a high price I would expect better, really disappointed.

Ensure you make the password not too complicated
Good product, took a little while to get it set up, (my fault) but it is what I was looking for and it makes me more secure.

Security
Only had it a few days but working very well. Has some decent weight to it so it doesn't have a cheap feel. I wanted the best security, one with 'on the go' FIPS-2 level 3 validation.....this device has it all. Sleeve is made of flexible rubber....I heard it used to be metal in the past. However, I think the rubber is better because it gives the device some adequate shock protection. In addition, the rubber sleeve fits the device like a glove. Will definitely buy more in the future. Not sure how long the device lasts for so I always backup with different security devices....just in case.

Ottima pendrive criptata.
Mi serviva una pendrive criptata con un grado di sicurezza abbastanza elevato e dopo una attenta ricerca sul web e confrontando svariate recensioni ho optato per la Apircorn Aeigs ASK3-NX.La configurazione nonostante i miei timori è risultata abbastanza facile. La pendrive è totalmente in metallo e ha una copertura in materiale plastico. Il mio giudizio non può essere che positivo.

Erschwingliche Sicherheit
Der neueste, und günstigste aus der Securekey Reihe, da (noch) keine FIPS Zertifizierung. Für den Hausgebrauch aber allemal ausreichend, sicherheitstechnisch einwandfrei und den Konkurrenten im ähnlichen Preissegment (<100) in Qualität und Bedienbarkeit (zB keine Zusatzsoftware, solide Verarbeitung) überlegen.Technik, der man Vertrauen kann.Und für den ruhigeren Schlaf auch allemal das Geld wert ;)
