See the title...works great on any metals/cleans grease or carbon build up completely, at a good price & shipped quickly and accurately. Make sure and protect and polymer, plastics or wood and follow with oil/grease on ONLY those parts in the areas needed. Old Guy tip: NEVER oil/grease your gas piston or impingement system unless you just like cleaning off carbon.

Does the job. Do protect your eyes and hands though.

Installed new carbon ceramic brake pads on my Z06 Corvette and since it only has 13k miles I chose not to replace the rotors bc the original iron rotors are in very nice condition. But they also had accumulated a significant amount of nasty black dust from the original Brembo pads and were very unsightly. I scrubbed the rotors with Brakeclean and it removed amazing amounts of embedded dust. Brought the rotors back to a bright shine and best of all prevented the existing dust from contaminating the new brake pads. Just be careful not to use this on painted surfaces like those beautiful calipers.

I've used this product for a while around the garage now and it just plain works. It removes any type of grease or gunk and it dries quickly with no residue. Just make sure that you have good ventilation to avoid inhaling the fumes.
