Good value fit my xc60 perfectly - good sturdy bars

Good buy if you gonna take them off and on and not use them much like me there worth it sturdy easy to fit comes with a rubber for underneath I fitted them on first put tape by the edge to know where the rubber will go marked up then cut and fitted on the ends I put the bars back on and the locks then just gradually cut the rubber to fit but take note if you take them off you need to remove just the end rubbers to take lock off don’t have to use the rubber it’s by choice meant to help with wind noise but to be fair can’t hear a great deal but nice looking just what I needed good price too easy to set up just a tip take time to put them on don’t rush it and you’ll see how easy to put on end locks are ok no issue at the moment

arrived today and installed today. only giving them 4 stars though because they are described as universal but only just fit my 2014 Volvo XC60 on the maximum width setting and even that took a small amount of force to squeeze them onto the roof rails. i almost gave up but i persisted and applied a bit of pressure to make them fit and im happy with the results. as long as you dont have anything wider than an XC60 you should be fine.

Unfortunately the roof rails did not fit even though car make and reg were supplied when ordering. Disappointing but refund organised.

Simple enough to attach, although cutting the rubber strip is a bit tricky; couple of tips, use washing up liquid to help slide them into place, and keep in mind that as you tighten the rack to the roof, it pulls itself together slightly, so your carefully measured rubber strip will be slightly too small. They're actually pretty good for the price though; have them fitted to my Zafira C, and recently went on a 200 mile trip to the south coast with them easily holding up a roof bag full of all the kids worldly possessions with no problems whatsoever with the the storage capacity. Apparently they're built to 50KG weight allowance (the car says 70kg), but that's "two big cases packed for a fortnight abroad" with a bit left over, so no real concerns, and the build quality seems fine for the price. They do tend to make a bit of a whistling noise if they're uncovered - in my case this happens about 60-70mph, so it's only noticeable on the motorway (officer). On the downside, the locks are more of a visual deterrent than anything; they turn a tiny piece of metal which should lock into the bar, but it's nothing that pulling them firmly won't overcome. For the price, an easy 5 stars, but you could probably get better if you pay 2-3x more...

I needed a set of roof bars to fit a Kia Sportage which has flush side rails on the roof, and chose this set as they seemed to offer a balance between cost and quality, as well as having some recommendations online. They proved to be easy to set up and with a few careful marks on the rails using a permanent marker I have been able to fit and remove them whenever needed. They are good quality and strongly made, and they stay safely in place even when loaded. The only negative point I’ve found is that the locks are more for show than real security, as even though they’re key-operated it doesn’t take much effort with the right tools to prise off the plastic endcaps which the locks are fixed to. I was aware of this before ordering them, and as that’s not an issue for me it wasn’t a big deal. However, I wouldn’t leave them unattended if there was a valuable load on top.

As with other reviews, the locking ends are absolutely useless, 1 of the 4 was not even able to push completely in with the little metal bars and had to leave them out (bars too long). The bars should not be advertised as locking, and really should be used as a visual deterrent to anyone wanting to steal them, They do fit the car fine, the clamps are made of steel so I was concerned they would damage the rails on the car and as its a Motability car and is due to be replaced soon I didn't want that. I used some stick on padding tape to protect the clamped area and its worked fine. Probably overpriced considering the locks, the lock itself does not appear to be able to even catch on anything at all so I don't even know how it would work.

Product ok, hard to open but it doesn't fit properly in a Ford Galaxy 2010-2015 as I bought for it. I will use anyway but I will have to strap inside of the car when I load something
