Plastex Fabrics Heavy Duty Nylon Canvas Camo Fabric by The Yard

This is exactly what I was hoping for. A heavy cloth for making bags. This isn't thin like ripstop nylon--it's very similar if not the same thing as a good school backpack would be made out of. It has a thick waterproof coating on the back that's a dull green.I made a bag for a large folding cot out of it--I needed it to be completely waterproof so I can haul it in the back of my truck. It should work well.

I used this stuff for a replacement cushion for my ladder stand that the squirrels got a hold of lol. Anyway, used the good Styrofoam, wrapped and sewed. Works great.About to put some up on my ladder stand for a blind. Plan is to take the roll as is and drill some holes through on a drill press every 6 inches, turn it 90 degrees, then drill more holes off center of the first set. My worry is with it being cloth is that it does "string" out. Trying to think of a way to heat the holes while it's on the roll before I take it off. Imagine taking a torch/lighter to every hole....lol not gonna happen. I'm gonna try a heat blade on some scrap of the material I have and go from there. I'll be attaching this to the rail with zip ties, so i plan to put some grommets on it to decrease damage over time.For the price, you can't beat this.
