This is a great dispenser to use when you have allot of boxes to tspe (such as moving). It saves allot of time.

Don't make the same mistake I did and buy the red colored tape gun by a famous maker. This is the one you want! This Uline tape gun works great. It's easy to install the tape and the tape rolls smoothly onto the box. My first go around with the other famous red brand tape gun was an exercise in futility and frustration. The tape constantly got stuck to the little silver guide and wouldn't dispense at all. This one is SO MUCH SMOOTHER and BETTER. Get it, you won't regret it.

Works just like it should! I bought this to replace a cheap tape dispenser that I bought from Walmart. I purchased this one for the same amount that I paid for the generic one and what a difference! The handle is a comfortable plastic with molded handgrip, and both of the blue side pieces are made of sturdy stamped steel that has been powder coated in a nice matte finish blue. The clear plastic piece that presses the tape against the box as you pull it does not have a lot of give, but that is a good thing as it helps make sure the tape is fully adhered to the package, and it does not flex to easy causing the tape to cut until your ready. The knife for cutting the tape is nice and sharp and cuts with ease, but only when you press down onto the tape gun. The knife was sharpened with Percision, take a look at the photo I included. Really helps save time by not accidentally cutting the tape when you don't want to. My only regret is that I didn't save my receipt so that I could return the one that I bought from Walmart. Highly recommend! Easy to use and the biggest plus is you don't have to keep feeding the tape back into the roller like the other one I had. Actually makes packaging easier!

I've worked in warehousing for quite some years and through several companies. Thus I've seen plenty of different variations of equipment. This is by far the most reliable and perfect tape gun for all hat you'll need. Holds a standard roll of packing tape, blade almost always sharp and is easy to clean. The unit has a decent weight for a tape gun but this what you with sturdy plastics and metal.I like that metal piece that pieces the tape through folds down or back with tension on it to work like a switch and not be limp or too tight all the time like others that I've used.The only downside to this unit is that it doesn't feature some sort of taser and a palm scanner in the handle so nobody but you can use it and your tape gun can't grow legs and disappear for awhile. That and it doesn't come with a GPS tracker as well for when it gets stolen by your coworkers.Lastly if you're unfortunate enough to have something break on this tape gun ULINE is pretty good on the replacement parts. From things just needing a screwdriver in most cases to replace.
