I bought this for my, lone ratty, Rattytatty, to snuggle w/ or provide security, after his cagemate, passed away. It smells a bit weird, & he, "attacked," it by biting at it. I tried letting it air out for a few days, but it still has a weird smell. Unsure what to compare it too, as I've had other rabbit pelts, that didn't have a scent. Otherwise, it's beautifully uhh, taxidermied? Idk...but yeah, very soft & only a teeny bit of hair loss, when I first removed it from the packaging. Usually rats are comforted by real fur, after losing a cagemate, as I've done in the past, so hopefully the odd scent wears off &, Rattytatty can cuddle in it.

The dog ate part of the trim on my husband's favorite hat...this was plenty to fix the damage...and then he got into it again, but the fur on this was tougher to get off, so not nearly the damage done - and if I feel like repairing it again, there is plenty of the fur left. Put your rabbit lined fur hats up high in a cupboard!

This is a lovely rabbit's fur. Just wonder why the price is so high. Used it to cover a quiver sheath.

It was the value of the money all right happy for the product.

I ordered one and used it for a collar on a coat, then the rest of it for a holder for my reading glasses on my desk.
