Very plush and soft. I’m sitting on it right now wearing black tights and I don’t see much shredding at all which is cool since I just received this skin yesterday. I’m quite pleased but please note that I just got it so if anything changes in my love affair with this skin I’ll update my review appropriately.So this little ensemble of sheepskin, chair, pillow and metal accent table are all from Amazon! And I lucked out because I love them all. My little Amazon corner. The sheepskin was purposely purchased to go on the Rivet Lotus chair and I’m digging it. It looks exactly as I’d hoped.Packaging on the skin was crappy - I can always count on my parcels delivered by UPS to be in a state of disarray when they arrive. The skin was shipped in a long box that was almost completely open and the skin (which was in a plastic bag) had settled down to the bottom of the box and was completely visible. But even though it was raining, the skin was okay because Outlavish packaged the skin in a plastic bag. So, note to Amazon, rethink your shipping packaging for this product and your carrier. UPS is a train wreck in my personal experience. Or maybe it’s just my UPS hub who gets some sense of perverse joy in manhandling parcels.

After seeing a sheepskin cover on a friend’s motorcycle, I decided to try this rug as seat covers for my slingshot. I have a touring edition, so the seats are comfortable, but the sheepskin makes them warm and cozy for winter driving. I live in Florida, so winter means 50s and 60s - still chilly in the open air. I used towels on the seats last summer to absorb the perspiration on my legs, and protect me from the hot black seats when it’s parked in the sun. I think the sheepskin on the seats is going to make all the difference in the world, in all seasons.The rug itself, came much sooner than expected and is absolutely beautiful. I got the longer one and with cutting just a small section out of the middle, got two, perfectly shaped covers for the seat bottoms, which I tucked between the seat and back. The fur is beautiful and soft, and I almost want to buy another and use it the way it was intended - as a rug! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either this rug or the seller. Both are impressive!

Oh my......this rug is AMAZING!!!! I reasearched a lot on the internet for a sheepskin rug and the quality and price of this one is perfection! So super soft and thick. I bought the 2x6 runner size to go right along my bed....perfect length for that area too. My husband loves it and now wants one of his own for his side of the bed. Lol.I don't really have a rating for cleaning it yet, as I just got it out of the package just a couple of days ago. No strong door either and the natural white color is that perfect off white color...not a lot of yellow that some other brands had on their ratings/reviews.If you've been wanting one of these for a while like I have, you won't be disappointed at all....do it!!!! Your feet will thank you!!!!! Oh...my 6 year old LOVES laying on it too!!!! She will want one of her own next I'm sure. Customer service has also been so great....Including excellent care cards so you know exactly how to clean and care for your sheepskin.

This sheepskin is absolutely gorgeous! I purchased two sheepskin rugs at the same time from two different Amazon sellers. I bought them for my spoiled children. I bought my daughter this one and got my son a grey one. This one is soooo much nicer than the other one. It is so soft, thick, and beautiful. At the time of my purchase, there were only 10 reviews on this rug, but they were all positive. I was trying to decided which seller I should purchase from, by whether or not they could be washed at home or not. I don't think it really matters, a sheepskin rug, is a sheepskin rug and care wise they are probably quite similar. Do not hesitate to order from this seller, this is the best sheepskin for the price. I must say that the price has increased by $10 since I ordered it. With all the fabulous reviews coming in, they probably figured they could increase the price. I hope they don't keep raising the price, because I would like to purchase more of these in the future, I need one for my bedroom, and would like a couple for the family room. They would also be great gifts, but if the price keeps increasing it might not be worth it.

This was my gift for a baby boy shower and the parents truly loved it. I worried that it might be a bit too big or a bit too bright blue, but no... soft, subdued and luxurious. The big test when he's born and actually using it has yet to come. Side note: New Zealand wool is the softest whereas Iceland wool is somewhat course... just saying......and now with our grandson at one week. His mama says it's a big hit!

Bought the grey 4x6 rug but unfortunately had to return it and go with a different brand. This one, on the left, is more of a silver blue-purple hued grey, and the dye was very uneven. It’s unfortunate, because this rug was thicker and seemed better quality than the other I kept, but I needed a solid dark grey that was even toned.

So, I have several genuine and faux sheepskins. I was skeptical of this product because the price for two is what I'd normally pay for one. When it arrived, I was sure it was fake. My real sheepskins are much heavier all around. The wool is thicker and the suede is too. This felt too light to be real so I did a burn test. The piece from one of my faux rugs flared up and burned, producing a melted blob on the end, as expected for essentially a plastic rug. The one from this rug smoldered, smelled like hair and crumbled to char. Burn test definitely suggests it's real. So, going by that, I have to rate it highly. It's a good product for the price. If you're looking for a skin to use in a costume or for decoration, this is good. If I was looking for a seat cover or something to really keep me warm, I probably would go for a better quality, thicker pelt. Still, I got it for my bed and it looks nice.

I liked that the rug was so soft and a perfect fit as a rug skirting my sectional. I have vacuumed it and it seems to stay clean. I do wonder how to clean it.
