This is really the perfect size backpack. I used it on the plane and then I took it to the bottom of Grand Canyon. It held all my water, snacks, and supplies perfectly. It’s durable, versatile, and great for travel and hiking.

Nice sturdy pack with more padding for comfort on shoulder straps than most packs this size. I like the adjustable straps around the water bottle pockets. Top loop Fits snugly on handle of my carry-on luggage. Will easily fit under airplane seat. Lots of pockets. Quality zippers too. There are lighter packs but No way will this pack fall apart on the first use. Good, trustworthy brand and well designed. Will use as personal item on trips and will pack small empty handbag in carry-on.

This is our second Osprey Day Lite and I bought this one for my son after my wife had such good luck with hers. I especially love that the water bottle pocket goes tall for larger waterbottles. Other backpacks we have had, the pocket barely goes up half the length of the waterbottle, making it prone to fall out when ducking through branches, or moving around a lot. This keeps it snug and secure. The back mesh and padding make this comfortable and the straps are nice and wide. This is a great day pack, and is what my wife and son both use as day packs now for hiking and amusement park trips.

Love this bag. It's light and feels durable. It has alot of space to hold a large laptop (15") and other accessories inside such as a tablet, mobile phones, etc. There are two drink holder pockets on both sides of the bag which is nice. It fits perfectly for my height and I love the color as well. I do wish that there was an internal zipped pocket inside to hold more important things like a wallet and keys. Other than that, the bag is perfect. I wish I had discovered the Osprey brand sooner!

The backpack is a good size and the fabric appear to be tough enough to take some abuse. It’s a good size for use as a daypack. Hopefully the basic structure will last for a few years.

I love my Osprey Day Lite so I ordered one for my husband for our anniversary. The product came in one of those Amazon bags where you know it was a repack.My heart sank because I knew immediately that it was a used backpack. There were no tags on it. If it’s a new product, there should be tags. The only reason I’m not returning it is because I wouldn’t get a new one in time for our anniversary and it does appear that the bag is still in very good condition and I couldn’t see any obvious wear. I’m just so angry to spend that much money and not get a new product.But overall, I really like this backpack because it has the hydration slot, great slippers with the sturdy loops, easy to close the top and open it, not a super heavy bag, easy to carry, looks nice, and even if you have your hydration pouch in it, it still holds a lot of stuff. (We frequently bring lunch, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, map, and binoculars. They all fit in the various compartments.)I’m taking off a star for Amazon sending me a used product, otherwise this would’ve been a five star.

As a woman I needed a smallish, but roomy day pack. This one fits the bill. Perfect for day hike, or when traveling. It has a computer pocket, but it’s not sturdy as you might want for every day use. Color is sophisticated, good for city or country.

Love my Osprey Daylite pack. It’s versatile. It’s durable. High quality design and construction. I highly recommend for your daily needs. Great options for your movement in your lifetime.
