This professionals quality hacksaw keeps the blade tighter than most, which is necessary for fast cutting. I would purchase this again.

As far as I'm concerned, hacksaws need to just do one job and do it well: cut hard materials without bending or twisting. This saw excels. It is light, but the all-metal frame is very rigid so it never twists. Cutting through 2" steel pipe, or a solid 1" steel bar is actually easy to do. Because the frame and blade don't twist or wander like they do on cheap saws, the cuts are nice and straight and the teeth don't skip or chatter while you are cutting. The grip is very comfortable, and the nose end even has places where you can grab it, so if you put a particularly difficult piece in a vise for sawing, you can hold the saw both at the front and back which make sawing hard materials easier. Changing the blade is very easy. Not much else to say. Great saw. Stands head and shoulders above the cheap stamped-metal department store saws, or the imported half-plastic tools. Not all Klein tools are USA-made these days, but this one is, and it shows. Great tool.

This is a great hacksaw. I’m an apprentice electrician and I have this tool because it is on my unions tool list. Excellent build quality as usual from Klein which is why they are always my go too. I don’t use this all the time however as our shop provides all power tools so the bandsaw is just more convenient. But for when I need to quickly cut anything like conduit it’s awesome.
