I bought the other rebuild kit because my impact was spinning freely as soon as you would air it up. I figured why not replace the hammer kit while I'm there and everything is apart. This comes with everything needed to do so. If you go to the reviews of the 2135 rebuild kit here on amazon you'll find a reviewer who made a complete video. Follow that and you'll be up and running in less than an hour. With replacing the hammer and other internals I've got 95% completely new impact wrench now. Super happy that I didn't have to buy a new one and I was able to completely rebuild mine. Love Ingersoll Rand. This kit does seem a little pricey only because of how few parts you get but just like the original everything is heavy and robust.

This kit worked great. Rebuilt my 2135timax completely with 2135-tk2 kit and the 2135-thk1 kit. The problem I had with my impact, was the anvil broke which this kit fixed. My impact was nearly 6 yrs old so I just decided to rebuild it all. I made a video on the rebuild since I couldn't find anything on YouTube specific to the timax.
