Performs as Expected
Second purchase after buying one five years ago for another bike. Good quality product; made in Taiwan (as opposed to the PRC). Mounted it on a cruiser. Easy to install and adjust. (it would have been even easier if I had the right sized spade drill bit rout out the end of the rubber handlebar cover.) Doesn't jiggle; good clarity. Decent price, too. I keep it firm enough to hold a setting but with enough play to enable easy adjustment. Satisfied.

For heavy commuter/rider this is the best mirror I have ever used! Love the flexibility and sturdiness of this product!
The media could not be loaded. I have been using this for a little bit now. I don't write reviews unless something is really a great product or really failed in my opinion. This is my second type of rear view mirror, the other being a "fixed" mirror without this much flexibility. I love this mirror for my needs!. Mainly because of its great flexibility, solid material, and still get and hold review image in position quickly when out of focus. I have to carry my bike up stairs in a narrow hall and this mirror flips easily on the inside of the bike, to narrow down the overall width, and not break or damage the mirror in tight situations like this, or if you need to lay the bike down on that side for some reason. See attached video. That is where this mirror really separated itself for me from the other fixed mirror that I was using. With fixed mirrors, sooner or later my glass would get scratched from leaning or carrying my bike through narrow places or other situations. A really great place for the ability to flip the mirror to the inside is when you are using bike racks on public transportation. Flipping the mirror to the inside of the bike protects it better from other bike users smashing into your mirror and not being careful when loading their own bike. Having the ability to flip the mirror on the inside of the bike for situations like this has prevented me from having any dings, scratches, etc... on the surface of the mirror and preserving life even longer IMO.My bike is sole transportation, and for someone who uses their bike as much as I do, this mirror is awesome for all my needs! If it continues to stay as sturdy as it has been, I won't look elsewhere to replace this one when its days are done! Thanks for making a great product!!!

works well even on off-road riding including the GDMBR
The Hafny Bar End Mirror, Stainless Steel is a very good mirror. It provides very good breadth of view of the road behind and the image, while not quite as sharp as glass, provides very good detail for what is behind. Not sure why others have a problem with image detail. When a vehicle or other moving object is in the far distance, you can easily determine its presence. As it gets closer the quality and clarity of the image continues to improve and detail about the object is clearly notable. I have no problem determining whether a car is near the white line or me on paved roads. I just returned from 3 weeks on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route down the continental divide. The Hafny mirror was mounted on the left end of my Jones H-bar and proved invaluable for seeing where other riders were as I was traveling with 2 others, as well as the occassional ATV. On rutted gravel roads or single / double track it held its position and provided good images of what was behind, including two large sheep protection dogs that chased me in the Great Basin in Wyoming. This is perhaps the best mirror I've been able to find, and I've tried quite a few, for image quality, durability and mounting stability. See photo below for quality of image. There was a smudge on the right side of the mirror when photo taken with smartphone. I can not wear a helmet mounted mirror because my vision and prescription will not accommodate one mounted that close to my eyes. I also found the helmet mounted mirrors that I've tried very distracting and in constant need of adjustment from being lightly bumped. I like this mirror so much that I mounted one on each of my son's MTB flat bars for the GDMBR ride. They found it very useful. While it provides a stable and highly adjustable mounting position, it will move without being damaged it you bump it against a wall or post, or anything else firm. You can also easily fold it out of the way if need be. Just readjust and it will remain stable for the roughest off road riding. At $15 it is a superior bike accessory, and now I see they have available the same mirror with blast resistant glass providing an even clearer image for $20. I will likely try it down the line as well. I give the Hafny stainless steel mirror 4 stars and it will go to 5 if the glass mirror further improves the image.

Great mirror for Jones Loop Bar handlebars
After changing my touring handlebars from straight mountain bike to Jones Loop Bar, I found the mirror I’d been using didn’t work. The straight bars were perpendicular to the bicycle’s body, and the Jones Bar ends at a 45-degree angle.Searching for an alternative mirror, I first tried a couple of mirrors I already had, one that attached with a clamp to the handlebar, and another that fit inside the bar end (as does the Hafny). The first vibrated too much, interfered with bar bags and such, and did not project enough to the side to provide good visibility. The second adjusted for a good angle but was too cheap and provided a distorted view and excessive vibration; in addition, it kept getting out of adjustment.Researching mirrors online, I came across the Hafny Bar End Bike Mirror. Its reflective surface is somewhat smaller than my cheap-o bar end mirror, but the stability of the mirror and the quality of the stainless steel reflective surface provide a good image. Also, the Hafny is versatile and allows me to adjust to exactly the perspective I need.I’m pleased to find a mirror that is the perfect fit for my Jones Bar handlebars. I can’t use a helmet mirror, and I don’t want a mirror that provides a distorted view and is difficult to keep adjusted. It should also be added here that the mirror comes with a one-year warranty, and after my online purchase, the company sent me an email affirming that. I ride mostly in Iowa, and last year eleven bicyclists died here. I do what I can to make my rides safe. The Hafny mirror looks like a winner!
