It’s not like I tasted it, but my dog seemed to enjoy it. There’s no hesitation when I put it down for them. Because wet food takes up less space than dry food. You either have to give them a larger quantity of wet food or supplement the dry food. I supplement with dry food and they pick the wet food first every time

Dog loves it. I add a couple of scoops out of a can each morning and evening to a bowl of dry kibble for my German shepherd. I keep the can in my fridge with a lid but the dog food is always fairly easy to mix into the kibble which is huge for me with Less arm strength. My dog will only eat her kibble if I mix this stuffing it, so I apparently that means she agrees that it's great stuff. The price is great too and being a prime member, I get my delivery for free.

My dog really enjoy the ground vs the kibble so I mix it with the kibble and they eat a lot better, especially my picky eaters. It’s also more affordable than most brands with better quality ingredients. The texture mixes well with kibble and hot water also. I think it’s healthier than just kibble alone.

We adopted a 3 year old pit bull roughly 6 months ago. We had been feeding her Science Diet canned and dry because we could get it locally from our vet. Due to our location, there is only one grocery store and the variety of dog foods is limited. We had to make a trip to the "city" and I found I had not packed enough canned food for our baby to last for the duration. So I ran down to the HEB and just grabbed the Purina One Beef and Brown Rice because, frankly, I was hungry and this sounded good to me! (No, I didn't eat any of it.) When I opened the can, it smelled so good and our dog's nose was sniffing so hard, it was almost trembling. I trained her to wait for her food until she gets the signal that it's OK to eat, so I gave her the signal as soon as I put her food bowl down because it seemed cruel to make her wait too long for something that she obviously thought smelled so good. She had not been very excited about the Science Diet canned. I was impressed with the ingredient list, so we decided to switch her canned food to the Purina One Beef and Brown Rice. She still gets excited when she sees the can and we mix it with her dry food twice a day. We will probably try a small bag of the dry formula when we run out of the Science Diet dry. But I want to read the ingredient list FIRST this time before I buy. I like the fact that Purina is made in USA and I'm sure it isn't made from the best cut of the cow. I am not that naïve. But the aroma and appearance of this food looks like it is a good quality food. The signal that it's OK to eat has been extended since that first feeding. But it's on Subscribe and Save now so we know that she will not run out and we'll feed it until she gets tired of it. But I don't think that will happen any time soon.

Great dog food and my dogs really like and add a better price than the more expensive one with less unwanted ingredients like fish and chicken.

I have been using this food for a while and just in the last 4 weeks began ordering from here. This last shipment (3 cases) was terribly packaged and several cans were dented. The food seemed ok but it has been inconsistent in texture and color. One dog experienced diarrhea for a couple of days and today they’re both refusing to eat it. Todays texture and color is a little off but no rotten smell. I would like to know how it is stored and definitely recommend better training for packaging and handling. I hope it’s just a fluke because this is the most affordable way to get this food.
