Game Writing: Narrative Skills for Videogames

Hi, I didn't figure out how to contact the seller, so I decided to drop a review here in the hopes they will see it. As soon as they do, this review will be deleted. I just got the book today, I haven't read any of it (in fact, all the chapters sound amazing, I'm super pumped about it), but there has clearly been a problem with the printing of either my particular copy or the entire batch. Every few pages, throughout the entire book, there is a problem on the right page, towards the edge of the text. It's like a vertical line, about 1 cm wide, that is a double printing of the text, creating a weird blur effect, making it tricky to read. It's clearly a printer problem, nobody's fault, but I would love to have my copy replaced with one that is not faulty. See the attached photos for reference. Other than that, super excited about the book and hope the publisher will contact me soon.

On my second copy after having returned another copy for the same issue. The printing errors are on the same exact pages and make this unreadable so this may be affecting a whole print run. I'd wait for another edition or buy the kindle version like I'm going to. Not a bad book from what I can read but low review because of the quality of the physical copy.

I have the same issue as the other purchasers: every 4 pages the right hand side of the page has blurred text. I requested a return and the replacement had the same issue so I’ve returned that one as well. I notified the editor and cc’d the publisher, and while Mr Bateman replied, I have yet to hear from the publisher. I was really looking forward to reading this, but I will wait before purchasing again.

I was so excited to get this book, finally. The articles are great as expected from these authors. So it's super sad to learn that the entire batch seems to have print issues. It's sold by amazon so there's no way to contact a seller and at the price, I expected something much better. Returning it doesn't seem to help either.
