Doesnt make PLA at +- .05 as advertised & Rude seller who calls you names if you try and return.
The media could not be loaded. Update: I tried returning the product as it didn't work(details below) and rather than processing the request the seller calls me irritating and has yet to process the return. It has been a week scene I had RESUBMITTED the return request and 11 days from when I original submitted the request.I bought this with the intent of making PLA. I am trying to use raw pla pellets from nature works. This says it can make pla +-.05 in my case that is FAR from the truth. Mine at the best settings I could find ranged from 1.2mm-1.7mm Unusable. Using the larger nozzle I can get between 1.7-2mm but anything over 1.95 jams the tube. I have tried everything from using a stepper at a consistent speed to pull the Filament (gave me the best results, but far to inconsistent to use) I have tried vertical and horizontal. I have tried the raw pellets, pellets/ recycled filament and 100% recycled pla. tried using the winder to pull the filament and that also didn't work.I contacted the seller and he is telling me for this exact plastic to use at 184C. I have done that and it comes out super liquidity as I had already told them! natureworks them self states 165C for this plastic, at that temp the machine extrudes super slow (around 1-3mm/minute) but the plastic comes out at the right consistency.I have personally tested this for around 30 hours with different speeds and different temperatures with only a full bag of wasted filament to show for it.They have tried to give me advice, but I am unable to get this to work with PLA.Right now I am trying to return it but am getting nowhere. I will update this review if I am able to return.

Original was "Better than expected," now not so much.
I decided to purchase a Wellzoom filament extruder because I really couldn't get my Filastruder to work correctly. I will use this review space to leave updates as I use it more. Shipping from China to my house was much faster than expected, taking about 3 days. I only have ABS to make filament with and I made some yesterday. At full speed, which is about 6.5 RPMs, I get about 16.5 inches per min. or about 419 mm/min. At that speed the filament exits the die at about 1.90 mm in diameter. I used my filawinder to pull the filament closer to the 1.75 mm that I need, though the 1.9 mm should work fine. ABS filament was perfectly round to maybe 0.01 out of round, which is good in my book. In the future I plan to make filament with TPU, TPE and reinforced PP. More to come.edited 4/4/2019 : Extruded ABS and TPE pellets over the weekend. Both extruded nicely. Ran the Temp calibration on the extruder while making filament and the temp hold very steady. Liking this Wellzoom extruder more and more.Edit 4/24/2020 Last time I used it a few months ago, I was having a problem with inconsistent flow, so I decided to take the screw out. Turns out that it is just a wood auger, with no compression or metering section to the screw.

Not working after 2 years
After 2 years, extrusion is very slow. Pellets do not get pushed into the tube anymore because feed screw is worn out or something. I cant figure out what the problem is no matter what i do.I tried welding a blob of weld on it to help it pick up pellets, but it didnt help much.Smoothing out the feeder screw also made things worse.Extrusion is near 1" per minute now.I tried to mill small notches on the feeder screw to help it push the pellets, no luck.Tried to coat it with heat resistant paint, nothing.Tried to change its profile on a mill, to make it be more aggressive, no luck.I think this feeder screw is NOT compression screw as it should be, thats why all the problems. Its a somewhat regular wood drilling screw if i am not mistaken.

Do Not Buy
Don't Buy this you guys. every time I try to make filament with it, the Filament is Always Uneven and Unusable. I bought this in January 2019. I'm tired of Not being Able to make usable filament so I just threw this in the Trash today. I STRONGLY don't recommend this Machine. it's a piece of crap! I would give 0 stars if I could.

Not a very good extruder, but it works and it is cheap
I have bought 11 of these machines for material development. They are not very good extruders, but they work and because of the low price it is acceptable to do crazy experiments with them.10 of the 11 machines have been wrecked irreparably due to experimental use! They mainly fail because it is impossible to open and clean the screw. If the material gets stuck there the machine is a goner! If it happens, then increasing the temperature significantly and feeding coarse salt in the hopper, can sometimes clean the machine and get it working again. Please note that my use is highly off-label, Wellzoom does not recommend this use. I am sure it works well extruding standard PLA and ABS filament.I will likely continue to buy these machines since it is just not acceptable to do crazy experiments on our big (expensive) machine.Suggestions for improvements for a new model:1. Make sure it can be taken apart and cleaned.2. Make it extrude faster.3. Make it mix the material better.

Way to overpriced, donโt buy
Exactly what the title says

Junk
Would be better off melting a pile of pla on stove and stinging it out with chopsticks
