Received coat with anticipation and wasn't disappointed. Extremely well made and excellent quality. Great fit and very comfortable to wear . With it being -3 outside a short walk soon showed that it was well capable of keeping you warm . Not tested out in the rain as yet but expecting it to preform as described as everything else is top quality. Well after a week in Poland with temperatures between 1 and -3 the jacket and hat were toasty warm , them home to Ireland were it didn't stop raining and both lived up to expectations and kept me completely dry if I could give 10 starts i would .

Beautiful coat for its price bracket. I've seen higher priced coats that're no better in quality bar the brand label, whereas this is a reasonable and sensible price. I wore it for the first time for a walk the other day on a freezing morning and it kept me nice and toastie all the way.

Bought as a Christmas gift for hubby. Having bought both a shooting jacket and gilet from Walker & Hawkes, for myself and found both a great buy, I wasn't disappointed with this jacket for hubby. Lovely tweed weave. Nice blue colour. Great quality. Good to see UK can still make great clothing.

Good heavyweight jacket

I’m 5’11” 12 stone, medium build. Bought size M Pros: Lots of pockets Sturdy tweed blend feels hard wearing and looks good Padded insulation feels substantial Moleskin like collar and handwarmer pockets feel comfortable Cuffed inner sleeves for warmth (but see below) Flap pockets are nice and deep and lined with what looks like a water proof membrane - this is great. Throat flap for extra warmth fits well and is warm. Cons: While this “fits” I’d say the sleeves are a tad short - YMMV but I’d like another inch of material on the sleeve length. It’s fine when your hands are at sides but rides up and exposes wrists when e.g. driving, working. This could be by design but I don’t like. The fit is “boxy” so if you size up it will probably drown you. The boxy fit is partly due to the cloth looking like it’s been stamped off a template at a sheet metal works - it’s stiff but will hopefully break in over time with wear. Hand warmer pockets are too shallow - this along with sleeves are biggest downsides - needs another inch of depth. You couldn’t safely stow your keys in them for example if active, and they just about cover my hands. Throat flap comes off both sides so probably easy to lose or misplace. (That’s why they sell replacements on Amazon, go figure). Some of the stud fasteners are very stiff to the extent that you cannot fasten with one hand. I’ll be spraying mine with WD40. Zip seems sturdy but is generic (not YKK or premium). Let’s see how it fares. Overall: I’d say decent value - if your looking for an outdoor or work jacket that will keep you warm (and probably dry) and looks like it will take a beating then this isn’t a bad buy. Update: it appears that the membrane in the flap pockets in fact is a membrane for the whole jacket. It’s not super clear in description but if true then this probably gives a boost in terms of overall waterproofing. Wore this for a brisk walk across the beach 1C with a wind chill feels like of -5C, only wearing two thin layers underneath. Kept me warm for full two hours, probably just right on the edge of beginning to feel a little chilly as temp dropped further. But with a thicker base/mid layer underneath this could probably take you well into the negative degrees C and keep you warm. Hand warmer pockets are toasty with the moleskin, even if they are a little shallow. Update 2: see pics - breathability / moisture control doesn’t really live up to advertised claims. The dark patches and visible moisture in the pictures are the result of a moderate paced 6 mile walk on a dry cold day.

This coat is the warmest coat I’ve had keeps out the wind and rain.the only thing is that it does not get used as much as it should thanks to global warming,,!!!!!

This coat is very comfortable, albeit a bit heavy. I got a size M being 175cm and ~85kg and I can comfortably wear multiple layers underneath. It has two pockets inside, plus two pockets at the chest level for the hands and two more pockets in front. The sleeves are awesome because there's a layer between the inner cuff and the outer cuff so that rain, snow, etc. can't go into your arms. It has good protection against cold and wind, though I have yet to test it's resistance to rain and snow.

Amazonのサイズ登録からMサイズが最適と出ていましたので迷わずMで発注しました。ところが、送られてきたのはSでした。ブレザーを羽織り試着したところ、ジャストでした。ただ、中にベスト又は、セーターを着込んだり、オーバーサイズで着る方は、やはりMが良いと思います。今回は、袖の丈を重視して返品せず良しとしました。170cm、67Kg

Diese Jacke hatte es mir angetan seitdem ich sie gesehen hatte. Der Style und das Design - perfekter Match. Man erhält sehr viel Jacke, die keine Minusgrade fürchtet. In den Ärmeln ist ein zusätzlich Turtle-Einsatz, der Käle und Feuchtigkeit nicht reinschlüpfen läßt. Ich habe die Jacke etwas größer bestellt auch einmal einen Pullover oder ein Jacket drunterziehen zu können. Super Passform. Überzeugende Verarbeitung. Gut funtionierende Accessories wie Knöpfe oder Reißverschlüsse. Ich erwarte lange viel Spaß mit der Jacke. Das wird ein Erbstück 😉 Es ist Tweed, daher relativ schwer. Nicht billig, aber sehr wertig!
