This is a insightful, creative and unique book, which is quite an experience in itself that would be handy for not only beginners but also experienced people. It makes for a great gift for someone who loves to embroider, loves handicrafts or wishes to learn. The author has taken extra care to make it detail oriented and the pictures and steps are detailed.Special mention for publishers - Loved the quality of the book and the layout of the pictures is well thought out.I received my copy in time and in good condition.

I purchased this embroidery book as I follow the author on Instagram and love the different patterns and stories she shares there. This book is gorgeous and well laid out, with easier projects at the beginning and more difficult ones at the end. The instructions are easy to follow and what I love most is that all the patterns are gathered together at the end on single sided pages, making them easy to trace, or remove from the book and use with a light box or in a window. I can't wait to get stitching!

This book is very good; it gives you basic embroidery stitches, clearly illustrated, & explains where they can be used to best effect. Later in the book it gives you some designs to embroider. I traced the Mandala design onto a 8 inch square of cotton sheet and had a go at embroidering it in chain, satin & back stitch. I enjoyed doing it , very soothing & the result was not bad for a raw beginner!

I had never really tried embroidery before, so bought this book to learn the basics. It's great. Really clear pictures and some lovely patterns to try. I was very happy with my first embroidery project.
