This has no smell at all. im afraid the bottle i got is not authentic. has this happened to any of you. argan oil does have a distinctive smell.

Mine had no smell either. Did not have the consistency of argon oil. It was really greasy on my skin. I stopped using it and will not purchase it again.

The Argan oil is imported from Morocco and bottled at US Organic's facility which is located in New Jersey.

If it is organic, cold pressed 100% pure, then why is it only for external use?

Anything is a poison in high doses. But this one specifically- remember being told don’t eat the watermelon seeds. (Well you can eat a few) Just like apple seeds and plums. It is amygdalin which becomes cyanide in the body which attacks oxogen delivery to body cells . But only in large and I mean buy 10 bottles and drink them large amounts. Don’t do that^ you can use it on lips

Can I use it as a foundation cleanser?

If you were asking can you use it to remove make up, then yes. But it depends on what your skin can take. I have oily to combo skin & oils that are really heavy weigh by skin down or break me out, so it depends on what your skin can take. If I were gonna leave it on my face as a moisturizer, I would only use a drop at most. But if you're gonna use it as a cleanser & just leave it on long enough to remove your make up, then there shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure that after you rubbed the oil into your skin to dislodge the make up, that you wipe your face with a wet rag or a wet, sturdy paper towel (you can just throw them away with worrying about staining them & washing them later) to remove the make up. Then rinse your face plain water. Then use another wet cloth to wipe away what you missed the first time. After your face dries, if your skin feels a lil' tight, spritz it with some purified/ distilled/ or rose water, & while your face is still wet, take a drop of argan oil, rub in between your hands, then pat your face. Patting your face with the oil while your skin is damp will help the oil absorb without leaving your face greasy feeling or shiny. But your skin will still have a healthy, natural glow.
