This fountain works great, as soon as I put it in the bird bath it started right up. The only issue I had was keeping it in the middle so all the water doesn't go out of the basin. The 4 plastic attachments don't really do much to help that as my birdbath isn't deep, they just laid on the edge of the basin and didn't keep the fountain from floating around and have the water spray out. I finally figured a way to keep it centered by placing small rocks around the center of the basin then placing the fountain on them so the pump underneath was submerged and it couldn't float around anymore.Taa daa... now my visiting birds get a pretty fountain birdbath to refresh in.The different attachments are great too, incase you want to change the pattern of the water spurts. If you have a backyard fish pond this would be a great fountain for that also.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this solar powered fountain insert to put in my birdbath to keep the water from getting slimy. It keeps the water circulating which keeps it clean and it attracts birds to it also.It is powered by solar energy, so there is no complicated wiring to do. Just place it in a water filled fountain or bird bath. When placed in direct sunlight, this fountain insert starts to move the water within a few seconds. It does not work if there is no sunlight.It includes 4 fountain heads which move the water in 4 different ways so you should try them all and pick your favorite. The heads are simple to put on and take off so switching is easy. It makes a make soothing, running water sound making the outdoors even more wonderful.

The media could not be loaded. I love this bubbler for my bird bath. I was not able to use any of the nozzles because the water sprayed out of my birdbath when the sun was hitting it directly. Mornings with less sun allowed me to use any of them but because of where I decided to place my birdbath, it works best without any at all. I think using in a more shaded area you could use any of them-and they were all good! I realize that it needs to be stabilized in the water somehow so the plastic straws do the job but I took off one star because I don't like them to be so visible. Maybe if I had a larger birdbath it they would be less noticeable. I did trim the plastic just a bit to make them fit. I have only had it for a few days so I can't speak to the longevity but so far I am very pleased with my purchase.

I rated this fountain only three stars because the fountain construction is designed to fail.The water flow height decreased about a month after I put the first fountain in my small pond. I cleaned the filter which is also difficult to remove when the motor is mounted with the filter trapped between the electrical box and the motor.So, I cut off one of the motor mounts and rotated the motor so the filter faces outward. After cleaning the filter, the water flow was still low.I pushed out the motor to separate it from the panels. Then, I carefully lifted the sealed box’s exposed long side edge by pivoting on the opposite edge against the plastic back. If you lift the entire box to break the tape seal, then you could break the two thin wires that connect the sealed box to the solar panel solder pads.These two exposed soldered pads got wet when the sealed electrical box sealing tape leaked. Water on the bare solder pad joints will drain some of the solar power from the fountain battery.I used a waterproof epoxy to permanently waterproof the entire solder pad area (including the lightly raised area around the exposed solder pads). The epoxy will also help keep the thin wires from breaking when they are glued to the plastic.Use 3M automotive emblem foam tape to remount the sealed electrical box to the solar panel. Allow the tape & epoxy at least 24 hrs to cure before submerging the fountain in water.I did the above to two fountains and they work like they did when they were new!

Wow! What a great product! Still works since 2021 purchase! It works so much better than all the other ones I have. It works even in little sun, may only spurt water but keeps water moving which is what I need in my pond! Thank you!

I returned the first fountain I bought and tried again. The seller gives very clear instructions that you need to shake it vigorously when you put it in the water. It works (and has a VERY good fountain -- so much so that I ended up using it without fountain attachments so that all the water didn't leave my birdbath). Without attachments, it's a nice gurgle. While it lasts. The first one worked for 2 weeks and then died. Shaking it brought it back to life but soon it wasn't working at all. Tried again -- the 2nd had the same problem. It died even faster than the first. I give up. I do NOT recommend this fountain!

The media could not be loaded. I'm very disappointed will be asking for a full refund. I bought 3 for a 3 stacked birdbath was super excited to get them it took longer than 2 days on Amazon prime. They were easy to put together didn't need the instructions. My pans are about 2 inches deep which I filled to the top. I wanted the fountains for the sound. Well the sound that I got is just annoying! It starts and stops then spits and quits! The water is inside the pans one minute and squirted out the next at this rate I might as well stand beside it holding the hose!!! Like I said disappointed 😞😞😞

DYI birdbath project - I upcycled an old glass pub table and then placed a large plastic planter bottom tray on top. The fountain comes with 4 plastic straws that attach to the sides to keep it centered in the birdbath. Keeping the fountain centered was important to me to keep the water in the birdbath (it is often windy where I live) - I use the fountain attachment that shoots the water down verses also due to wind. The fountain does work on cloudy days but only shoots out water every 5 or 10 seconds verses continually. I have had the fountain for several months and have had no issues with it.
