We were very excited when Madre Nature recently started offering a new 2.43% TQ Black Seed Oil from Turkey - which is over double the TQ from the original Madre product. We contacted Madre to see if this higher percentage was naturally-occurring, or if extra TQ was added to bring it up to that higher percentage. We were very pleased to find out that the 2.43% is not spiked with extra TQ, but is in fact naturally-occurring. We have been taking the Madre product from India for almost 2 years now, and love it. So to now have an even higher naturally-occurring TQ percentage is great. (A note regarding "Naturally-Occurring": In studies with cellular/organ systems comparing the therapeutic benefits between a naturally-occurring chemistry versus spiking that same natural chemistry back into the product, it was found that the naturally-occurring chemistry had more pronounced therapeutic effects than when spiking the natural chemistry back into the product. In fact, in some tests when spiking the natural chemistry there was no therapeutic benefit on some markers, and in some cases there was even an inflammatory response produced with the spiked chemistry. With the naturally-occurring chemistry it was consistently more therapeutic on the multiple cellular markers they were testing - without any inflammatory response. So you are much better off when you can find a product which has the active ingredient/chemistry naturally-occurring.) For me, I immediately noticed the Black Seed Oil (just one eyedropper full) made falling asleep easier and promoted deeper sleep. I did not know that this was one of the benefits, but was pleasantly surprised! Update… Since buying a bottle of this a couple of weeks ago, we just ordered another 4 oz. bottle. I’ve been telling my wife so much about how good this makes me sleep that she wanted her own bottle to keep with her supplements. It’s good for a lot for a lot of other things, but the way it helps with sleep is enough reason for us alone. I don't know why it works so well, but now I don't have to use Melatonin, 5-HTP and L-Theanine to sleep well. I just use an eyedropper or two of the Black Seed Oil and it knocks me out! If I wake up 4 hours later (which I normally do, even with Melatonin and the other supplements), I just take another eyedropper or two, and quickly back to sleep I go. This works better than anything I’ve ever tried for a good night’s sleep, and without any kind of “hangover” like Melatonin can give.

I was recommended to try black seed oil for immunity boosting and anti-inflammatory benefits. After researching different black seed oil brands, I ended up decided to try this one, due to the positive reviews, glass bottle, USDA organic certification, and cost. I couldn't be happier with both the product and the customer service of Mother Nature Organics. Regarding the black seed oil itself, I have now been taking it daily for a couple of weeks. I normally get tired and sick during the winter season, but I've been energetic and healthy since. I also feel like the oil has made my skin very clear! I just overall feel my immunity has improved. I'm excited to continue taking the oil to see the long-term benefits. I'm also very happy about how Mother Nature Organics provided me with a complimentary 8oz bottle after my first purchase of the 4oz size. 10/10 would definitely recommend purchasing.

The taste is exactly like cumin. The consistency is easy to swallow as its not too thick. This was my first experience with balck seed oil and I started with a small dose (1/2) tsp. and it made me sleepy everytime and caused belching. The following week I started a full teaspoon and it gave me the worst headache to the point that I had to take tylenol so I ended up taking the dosage back down to 1/2 a tsp. I read that the headche is a side effect because the oil is a detox and to reduce the dosgae if the effects are unbearable. I haven't had any of the usual aches and pains from my knee, my back or the arthritis in my neck overall its a very good product in my opinion.

It’s a litttle spicy, but not bad. Just take a little bit of water with it if it’s too much Peppery for you.
