This netting is strong and appears to be made from durable material. I have a large pond with newts and the occasional frog and whilst protecting them from herons and seagulls is a good idea, honestly, I don't think I've ever lost one to avian infiltrators. Still, the pond does need some protection, especially in autumn... from leaves. Obviously the smaller ones are going to drop through, but I have a couple of hazels and they drop all their leaves, along with the neighbour's directly into my pond around late October, early November. This is going to help me a lot with my clearing them away. If I don't they'll rot and cause all sorts of problems later.I am going to use some it to train some annual climbers up, as a temporary trellis, held up with a few nails. This netting feels like it will be more than up for the job!Recommended.

I have tried various methods of keeping pigeons from devouring my greens but netting is the only one that works.This is an ideal garden netting. It feels quite soft and flexible while at the same time being pretty strong. This is a huge amount – 12m x 10m with 2cm squares. It can be cut to be stapled to a frame or just draped over posts. If you make sure it is reasonably taut then birds will not get tangled in it.The mesh will definitely keep out birds and squirrels but not butterflies and beneficial insects.Not particularly cheap but it should save my crops and will last for years.
