Exactly what I was looking for. Convenient and easy to use. Wish there were handles on the sides for easier lift out of the vehicle, but besides that, works well. My cats don’t seem to mind them.

I bought this carrier to bring my 14 pound Pomeranian on vacation with me. She is also proportionally taller than the breed standard Pomeranian. It was perfect! It was well made and sturdy and I feel it was really worth the money. It was actually a little big for my dog height wise and a bit bulky when used as a backpack, however, I wanted to use it as a car seat for a long drive and wanted to make sure it was big enough for her to be comfortable. As a carseat it was excellent. I purchased a nice thick sherpa liner and folded it to put in the bottom to make it more comfortable as the bottom is hard and that worked great. My girl was able to curl up to sleep in the car seat or stretch out and lay her head on the edge of the zippered bottom or she could sit up and look out the window. She seemed to like the seat and was very comfortable. While shopping in stores I zipped her in and used it as a back pack. She had plenty of head room and I didn't feel that I was cramming her into anything and nobody gave me any problems for having a dog in the store. As I said, it is a little bulky and I probably could have fit her in the smaller version, however, I feel I would have been cramming her in and felt better that she was comfortable in the bigger version. I also used it as a pull cart at times between stores and it seemed to work very well. I was very, very happy with the backpack and look forward to many more vacations using this.

We have a 14 year old bichon. He’s still very active but cannot go for longer than 3-4 kilometres on our hikes. This backpack has been perfect for him. It’s spacious for him (he’s about 15 pounds).We did need to put a pad in the bottom for more comfort. The only thing I’d change about it is having a strap that also goes around the waist to take pressure off the shoulders. Very happy with the purchase!

This is fabulous for sitting nicely on the seat for trips, but its a bit broad and awkward as a backpack. I found it too uncomfortable. But as a carrier its terrific.

Absolutely great for trips to the vet.I leave this around the house so the cats can sleep in it and feel comfortable in it on a daily basis.I bought this size because I wanted to make sure my cats could stand up comfortably but also curl up in a ball on the bottom if they wanted to take a nap during a trip. Some of my cats are above 15 lbs, not by fat content but by sheer body built, so I was very satisfied that they could fit comfortably both vertically and horizontally.The wheel work very well on pavement and on grass but the backpack option seems a bit cumbersome and I haven't really tried it. I don't think it would be wise to lug around a 17lb cat in a backpack for me.The telescopic handle adjusts easily and the carrier comes with all sorts of extras to be used as a car seat, backpack, stroller, or simply pet taxi with a handle.The interior uses some very soft material that can be detached and washed, and the net can be rolled down and velcroed to the front of the carrier. There are also two side pockets that can be used for paperwork or cell phones, and another bigger pocket in the back for more flat storage.
