Best one!
This was the best one of all of them for the newborn stage (0-3) months. At that stage they’re so little and I found that the space between them and my breast on the other ones like the Boppy was too much. This was way better!!! Will be using this again for future kiddos for sure.

Highly recommend
The boppy pillow always had a lot of hype, so needless to say, that’s what I found out I was expecting. But, the boppy and similar pillows were just too awkward. The pillow didn’t fit properly and it was more of a hassle to hold that thing on me AND the baby. My back would hurt. The Frida mom nursing pillow is GAME CHANGER. It straps around you so it fits perfectly. You can remove layers if it is too high. The baby sits perfect at ta-ta level, so you don’t have to hold your baby much at all. My back no longer hurts. AND I have a little arm rest when scrolling on my phone while nursing at night. This pillow is PERFECT for breastfeeding, especially when you have a bad back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Worth the money.

Unfortunately a no for me.
I’m really torn about this. The good:I really liked how the strap would hold it close when strapped on.The ability to take out pieces to make it different thicknesses was helpful. The bottom layer is very plushThere is a pocket for pacis, burp cloths, or snacksThe not so good:The weird clasp was hard to get apart. Especially with one hand which… is more of the time with baby.It is really stiff with straight across and can’t really be used at and sort of twist or angle, making it not very customizable to the comfort of baby and also doesn’t work if you have a reflux baby that you need to keep more upright. A basic pillow did this betterOverall.. pulling a pillow in close was more convenient and versatile than this. Good intentions just not super practical.

Eh? Too Complicated
I bought this because someone said it was the best breastfeeding pillow ever. I'm breastfeeding my 2nd child and this pillow is 1. Difficult to put on. My strap does not easily tighten or loosen. I have to manually feed the strap to get it to do what I want.2. Provides too much support and not enough support at the same time?? I enjoy that there are multiple layers and that this is suppose to work throughout breastfeeding but I don't have the time to try and figure out what level works best for my newborn at the moment. Seems that if i use it as intended for his size, he's too high up and the pillow does not work for my lap. Also seems that I have to sit so incredibly far forward on a chair, even with the lower back pillow, I have no support.Trying to decide if I'll keep it but out of all the breastfeeding pillows I owe, this is the last one I reach for.

Love it! Great post c-section
I absolutely love this pillow!! I don't mean to fangirl out but this pillow was so wonderful after my c-section. It provided lots of support and I was able to bring my baby right up to me without hurting my incision.I was able to keep vitamin D drops, nail file, chapstick and a burp cloth in the pockets. The removable layers are brilliant. It's really customizable so I was able to get a lot of use out of it as my baby grew and we got more practice. Now that I don't need a nursing pillow I took the foam out and use the pillow part for tummy time.I do wish the strap was fully removable because I didn't need it after a while, that's the only thing I would change. I ended up tucking it and zipping it inside as best I could. Also the cover is machine washable! My baby is a spitter so that was incredibly useful. It's really loud to dry with the buckles so I flipped it inside out and zipped it closed to keep the noise down.I wish I'd bought this pillow from the start (I had another that I sent back) it was such a good buy and we can still find use for it now. Postpartum is hard. C-sections complicate things. Nursing can be challenging. This pillow made me so happy in those early days I literally cried about it lol. With some skillful positioning I was even able to eat while nursing, which is amazing when you're starving all the time but only have minutes to spare.

Material
Love the material. Easy to take off and wash before baby comes. Plan to take this one to the hospital with me for delivery and breastfeeding. The band was easily adjustable even to fit around my current 8mo pregnant belly to try out lol

Not the Best
It is difficult to adjust the strap. I can't seem to tighten it enough that when I put my baby on it, he somehow is between me and the pillow. He is barely on the pillow. It is way too high and bulky for my newborn. To get him to latch properly I have sit super upright without sitting against the back of a chair. It kills my back. The one pro is the pockets they're very convenient. This has my life hard and honestly the boppy works better for me.
