Works for intended use
Bought this to deaden the subwoofer rattle in the rear deck and rear window of my 2017 civic touring. Works a treat!! A bit pricey but I would buy again, not that I'll need to since it came with a bunch of them.

Works Great, May Damage Some Surfaces
These work very well for isolating vibration, but be warned they tend to get really tacky (even the non-sticky side) after a while. Don't put these directly on wood furniture, for example, or they may damage the finish. It seems to be worse if they are exposed to sunlight or heat.

Works but leaves marks
These work fine. I have used other sizes of this same product before and they do seem to provide good cushioning and vibration insulation. Some have mentioned that the adhesive could be better. I've found that the adhesive on the larger sizes works well, but maybe the reason it doesn't work as well on the 1/2" size is because there isn't much surface area for the adhesive to work.Anyway, these work just fine but there is one criticism I have of Sorbothane products - they leave marks. The larger sizes are also very sticky without the adhesive part (the material itself is sticky) and on non-porous surfaces like glass, finished wood, metal, it really sticks. And like I said, it leaves a mark that doesn't come off. If you have a finished wood surface, don't use these because if you take it off, it pulls the paint or stain right off of the wood. Believe me, I found out the hard way. So beware of what you use it on.

These Are Great For Many Uses
These are great. Not sure about the other durometers and how they work but these 50 durometer are great for my use. I placed them on the wall where my kitchen cabinets would normally hit the wall and they bounce off nicely. I can open the doors of my kitchen cabinets now without worries about them slamming into the wall. Put a few on the side of the fridge too and also prevents nicely the doors from hitting the side of the fridge. I tried using these for feet on the bottom of something but they came off and didn't stick too well. For my center channel speaker for my surround system, I used the 1 1/2" version and it has been flawless at dampening any vibrations and also at protecting the wood cabinet that it sits on. They are a little expensive but nothing else out there works like these. Much better protection than the hard rubber stops you find in the local hardware or superstore hardware stores.

2016 Honda Civic Touring Subwoofer Rattle Solution!
Absolutely fixed my problem for my 2016 Honda Civic Touring subwoofer rattle. However one hemisphere seems a bit small to wedge inbetween the back window and the top of the third brake light, they were a bit too small and I kept dropping them in the crevice at the back window (which was a pain in the butt to get them out!) So instead of buying a larger size, I just put two hemispheres together and made a round globe, and wedged 4 of them in the corners around the brake light casing.Worked perfectly! No more rattle even on max volume + max sub volume. Seems the adhesive is strong enough that both hemispheres glued together made a very tight bond that I doubt will ever come loose, and its large enough that it is wedged in there tight.
