I didn't have a whole lot of faith in this, but decided to give it a try. Super easy to install, very sturdy, love that it takes a key, and holds tightly! I'd buy more if I need them and I would recommend this to anyone. I use it on our sliding glass door. Just inserted in the track (after rotating the key to get the correct width), tightened up, and voila! No more sneaking out teen!! ;) It also makes me feel extra safe. The door had a lift lock, but I never felt truly comfortable with just that. Always kept a bar in the track, just in case. Now I don't need the bar. This little lock is perfect!!

Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Make sure you don't over tighten though because it might bend your slide door molding because this thing is strong, which is how it is supposed to be! I highly recommend this because it looks better than setting a metal bar against the sliding door or worse yet, just depending on the stock safety latches on the sliding door.
