95995094 Gas Cap Fuel Tank Cap Compatible with Buick Cadillac Chevrolet GMC Pontiac Hummer Saturn

So far the " Fits my Truck Filter" on amazon has been rt on. but this time it wasn't. It does not fit a 2004 Chevy Silverado...My situation is its Sunday morning and I need it yesterday, so I will have to buy 1 today, Its 40 miles 1 way to the UPS store to return a $15 part...It wont help to whine but at least the fellow that reads this comment may have better luck... I also referenced several other caps on the amazon site and the fits my truck filter said they were all a fit, they were not. The problem is in the threads....$15...? just go to the auto parts.. Seemed to work well as a replacement for my 07 Chevy Cobalt, but when I went to get an Echeck, they couldn’t get this gas cap to pressurize no matter what they did. Echeck station ended up replacing this gas cap with a much nicer one. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money on a nicer item.

Installed with no issues. Appears to seal fine. Only issue is with the tether strap. Attached to door fine but on 3rd time fueling vehicle, while taking cap off, the tether snapped at the door portion of strap. Im thinking it's too stiff and not the right material used. Tether also wouldn't flex enough and tuck in place when shutting fuel door. Now I've gotta buy a new cap from GMC. Works but a waste of money if you need to replace it soon after purchase.

Fit very well. Others had a lanyard that did not fit my GMC. Works well.

The tether being straight and rigid caught in the gas tank door and broke, the gas cap itself was just fine but tether doesn't seem to be repairable

Cap works as expected but plastic hanger part snapped within the 4th time at the pump... went to lv it hang n had to find gas cap as it fell to the ground

Fits on my sons 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix.
