Pros: amazing design, great quality, less plastic, thermometer Cons: bulky and quite big, and 2 major design flaws: (a) the thermometer pin is higher than the 0.5lt height which does not allow accurate temp reading (the water was boiled at 100oC but the temp was still rising as it wasn't in the water but above it), so one needs to fill the tank more than 1lt to get accurate readings; (b) the top cover is extremely hot and if one is not careful to open, he/she will burn himself/herself.

It is a good kettle. Heats the water at a good speed. The mini thermometer shows the water temp inside as you boil. One drawback is the handle of the kettle is right above the lid so washing the inside part will be little hard to reach. The outside metal tends to get extremely hot as there isn't any plastic portion so one must be careful.

Kettle kept leaking I thought it was condensation until it tripped the house electricity

I returned it immediately because there is a whole bunch of plastic on the inside within the boiling area. Honestly a crazy design idea
