Firstly it is easy to put together and requires no tools at all,This storage box quite literally took me about 2 minutes to fit together, it is just push click fit, push and click.simply click the bottom into the long back, then click the 2 sides into the bottom and back the push click fit the long front in place, then just click the lid into the lid slots it matters not how you fit the parts together i.e the front and back 2 as it is a universal fit as technically the back and front are exactly the same.my problem is:- the storage box is flimsy and not strong, its made from plastic that will surely snap and damage very easily because it ridiculously thin and brittle plastic,the method of the click and lock is so nasty this thing will pull apart with the slightest of weight pushing from inside out, the joint click and lock are terrible .if you are ok with stacking boxes then just buy 80 litre £5 asda storage boxes which are thicker and stronger and made from softer non brittle plastic are better quality and will not pull apart as its a joint free one piece design, i wanted a strong bulk storage solution for my workshop for stuff i least use but this 270 litre box from duramax is not the best solution as its too weak, dont expect to use it as a seat as its far too flimsy for a large adult and not going to be great for 2 adults, and do not stand on it as it will never take a small footprint have wight on the lid unless you put a sheet of timber across it to distribute the weight all over the lid and 4 sides equally.dont be thinking you will be storing heavy duty stuff in this box as its not going to take the wight so dont be thinking this will be the solution for heavy tool storage or a box for the back of the work van etc as its not heavy duty or secure for that task.it will allow for a padlock but the box is just push fit so you can pull it apart with a sharp tug and you will be in the box or the plastic lock tab would brake with a simple twist of the lock so its more to stop the lid blowing open or a child opening the box only, so dont be storing anything of value in this box unless it is securely locked away in a garage, shed or very secure garden etc.i have my doubts this will be waterproof to anything more than a very light summer shower,mine was missing the wheels but if you are lucky the base has space for 2 small roller wheels,the box has 2 handles but you have 2 problems with this1 the handles are in no way designed for secure grip with zero ergonomics to actually grip...along with the silky smooth plastic don't be expecting to be safely carrying this box about.2. even if you have little hands to grip the handle slots i doubt the box would handle lifting with anything of genuine weight in the box without the whole thing pulling apart on you.i am going to strengthen my box with plastic weld glue commonly known as plastic pipe cement if you are an electrician like myself, i will strip the box down and glue every joint with plastic cement glue to make the box super strong and far more water resistant, plus i will hot glue a plywood base into the bottom neatly cut to a perfect size, i will consider further strengthening with some pvc flat strip bars if i find my improvements did not help to my high standards.i have seen far far better products for similar money so i can not recommend this product as it well over priced for the very low quality of product you are getting.if you are keeping this in the garden then you might need to weigh it down with something heaver than chair cushions as it will blow over in anything stronger than mild winds.i have to say avoid this product unless its for very light duty stuff, or you are willing to do some improvements with glue etc.i would have returned this if it were not for the fact it was just too much hassle for me to mess about taking time off work to arrange a return.i am so unhappy with this item i feel a little bit ripped off and i wish i had never bought this as really i needed something much more heavy duty to store my electrical cables and spares etc, i considered this as a dry wood store but its just not going to take the weight of a 100 plus KG of wood inside.final thoughts:- it might be ok as a toy box however it has some poor quality finish from the plastic mould with many sharp edges, at least it has on my example so you will have to check it over and sand the sharp edges off, also a child would also likely snap the hinges in very short time as you will see the hinges are basically pathetic, you also get no hinge lifter unlike the larger next size up model, however that is not really an issue with such a light duty box but it would have been nice to keep the lid sturdy and supported while it was in the open position, for this price duramax could have thrown in the gas lift supports.bottom line:-AVOID

Bought this to store all my recycling outside the house , arrived on time seems to be well made for the price ,easy to assemble and does what I need it to do

Ordered 2 and one arrived damaged, hinge lugs snapped off but didn’t realise what the pieces were until it was assembled, lid still closes and I really can’t be bothered with the return process. Easy to assemble and large enough for the seat cushions. Excellent value for money.

Thought the instructions could have been better explained and you need to look carefully at the pictures to determine which way up each piece goes. Also when putting on the lid it did take two people as it clicks in so one end needed to be held while you position the other and click. Works great now and no more recycling in the garden in the morning.
