Fluke is a leader in test instruments. I like the simplicity of using this meter and the clean non-cluttered display. My Fluke 113 meter is made in Malaysia as noted on the packaging and on the back of the meter.MINUSES-The display especially when illuminated has a narrow range of vision.-Not suitable for low voltage electronic or digital circuits due to it's low impedance ~3 kΩ. Most modern meters have at least 40 MΩ input impedance.-No current Measurement-Limited Resistance measurements - 60 kΩ maximumPLUSES-VCHEK mode automatically selects between AC, DC, Diode, and Continuity as appropriate, making testing and troubleshooting different circuits extremely easy. Being able to probe different parts of a circuit without having to change settings on your meter is genius.-The VCHEK low impedance also means you are not mislead by ghost voltage.-VCHEK mode will also measure battery voltages including button, AA, AAA types without issue.-There is a separate dial position to measure resistance up to 60 kΩ maximum and capacitance after pressing the select function switch that toggles between resistance and capacitance.-There are also Range, Hold and backlight buttons.-This meter also offers a bar graph that quickly reacts to changing voltages providing a quick visual of what is happening in the circuit.The Klein MM620 is a more well rounded meter from a well recognized brand and has a low impedance mode (for ghost voltages) and costs significantly less. However it lacks VCHEK and the bar graph and you would need to more careful to ensure you are using the right setting for the measurement you want with its multiple cable inputs and settings.The Fluke 113 is the most expensive meter I considered and perhaps a questionable investment since I plan to just use it around the house, probably infrequently. However, the VCHEK mode even with its drawbacks really appealed to me due to being able to simultaneously check for voltage and continuity (and diodes). I have not seen VCHEK on any other meter and if I ever need to test a low voltage circuit, I can purchase a lower cost multimeter while keeping the Fluke for high voltage circuits.

Ich bin Hobbybastler und brauche für verschiedenste Zwecke ein einfaches und zuverlässiges Gerät zum Messen von Spannungen und Widerständen. Es gibt bei dem Gerät nur sehr wenige Einstellungen und das Gerät merkt, was es zu messen gibt. Das ist extrem praktisch. Man muss sich nicht mal merken, was AC und DC heißt und auch nicht überlegen, in welchem Messbereich ich messen will. Auch das Gehäuse, Knöpfe und Display vermitteln einen langlebigen und soliden Eindruck. Ich würde das Gerät sofort wieder kaufen.
