Excelente. Permite conhecer e usar o ângulo correto das facas Shun ao usar a chaira. Sugiro assistir o vídeo "How to hone your Shun cutlery", publicado pelo fabricante no YouTube, para usar perfeitamente esta chaira.

I have a few Shun kitchen knives so wanted to stick with the Shun line, but didn't want to pay a premium for a matching honing steel from the premier/hikari lines. As far as I can tell, the steel is still the same, and the Sora had the combo smooth and ridged steel as well. The combo models also have the thicker guard with the cutout to prevent rolling, I believe the Classic version is all ridged, and has a simple circle guard.Don't know why I was so scared of honing myself, it's so simple, and I feel like I can tell a difference after a few passes. I hone now about once a week or after heavier usage.

After just 3 months of use, this product began to bend.. I have been using it to hone Shun branded knifes but even it’s own brand cannot handle the load.Have had a no brand honing rod for multiple years and it is still going, decided to try this out but was clearly wrong.Very disappointed considering the price point and brand reputation this product is made of poor quality materials and will not last with regular use.

Rod was glued on to the handle and came apart easily.
