Product Description The sporty Lagoon 1 kayak is so unique that you will have complete strangers asking questions about it. Its bow and stern have fixed rigid forms that help cut through the waves and keep you on course. It has an inner tube cover for increased rigidity and durability. With additional features such as an inflatable seat rest, foam floor, paddle loops, and a tracking fin; this multi-use boat is for anyone who enjoys the water. From lakes and mild rivers, to bays and estuaries, it is a delight to get on the water quickly without lugging around a heavy cumbersome hard-shell boat. .com Sturdy and versatile, the Lagoon1 single-person inflatable kayak is capable of traversing almost any moderately calm body of water, including lakes, mild rivers, bays, and estuaries. The Lagoon1 is tougher than most other inflatable kayaks, with built-in rigid panels that help define the bow and stern, along with inner tube covers around the bladder to add stiffness and protect against abrasion. The Lagoon1's rigid form easily cuts through the waves. The rigid panels also improve tracking, allowing the kayak to easily cut through the waves and keep you on course. Comfort-wise, the boat offers a padded high-support seat to keep you in good paddling position. Best of all, the boat is a breeze to set up thanks to the quick-inflating Twistlok and high-flow Spring valves. The Lagoon1 is a huge improvement over cumbersome hard-shell boats--which are a pain to lug from the car to the water--or slow-inflating kayaks that take forever to launch. Other features include molded rubber-grip handles, bungee deck lacing, a mesh accessory pocket, a tracking skeg, a landing plate, a splash diverter, a durable fabric cover, and a foam floor. The Lagoon1 also comes with a duffel bag for easy transport. Specifications Color: Orange/gray Capacity: 250 pounds Length: 8 feet 4 inches Width: 34 inches Weight: 23 pounds Warranty: 1 year

Super comfortable kayak and very well-made
I took this kayak out for the first time today and I absolutely loved it, It was still very comfortable even after four hours of nonstop paddling. It took me less than five minutes to get it ready to put in the water! I am lazy so when I was done I took most of the air out I folded it in half and threw it in the back of my car and then I cleaned it up when I got home. I am 5‘5“ 135 pounds and this kayak fit me perfectly. It’s definitely not designed for really rough water but I wouldn’t use it for that anyway. I was very hesitant to buy this kayak but I’m so glad that I did! I love how easy it is and how comfortable it is! I bought a dry bag to put under the laces in front and that worked out just fine. I also added a inflatable foot rest even though I usually kayak with my feet on top. I have zero complaints about this kayak I can’t wait to take it out again. If you want something quick easy and fun this is for you if you’re going to be out on rough waters then this would not be a good choice, I did notice that it goes a little bit slower than a hardshell kayak.

Great boat for calm water and (not very serious) paddling.
Bought two of these for a trip to shore. They are portable, easy to assemble, and tough. We mostly kept to calmer water (we were on the ocean, but in a protected harbor). The boats are easy to carry (even for my 98 lb wife). On the water, they move smoothly, almost effortlessly.I think I would be concerned in choppier water, but, after all, they are called "Lagoon boats". I really appreciated the tie-downs, the mesh pocket, the seat with backrest and the handles on both ends (a handle in the middle also would have been appreciated, but that's just a "nit").The crack-down was easy as well and both easily fit into the trunk of our Acura RDX with plenty of room to spare.Getting in and out is a challenge as the boat is so light. You need to find a place to wedge it into to stabilize it.We paddled across the bay several times to our favorite bar (yes, you can see, we're not serious kayakers :)We also boarded a much larger boat (Great to meet you Captn. Norm!) and were able to get back in the boats again, but it was not pretty.Overall, these are great units for a lake, or inner harbor. They are tough, track straight and are easy to transport.

Great Kayak
Love this little kayak. Like most comments, it does not track well but it works for what we use it for. Inflates super quick (need to purchase your own pump). If I was much bigger than 5'9" 170lbs it might be too small. Just an fyi

Lightweight, easy to manage for a woman to use, fun little kayak
I am able to handle this kayak by myself without difficulty. I have the manual pump, it inflates quickly. I am able to carry it to the water without dragging it.The negative about this kayak is that it so light that if windy, it’s very hard to steer when paddling. When I want to clean it, I do reinflate it, flip it over to dry. I does go back into the bag!As a small woman, I am unable to manage a regular kayak by myself, so this is great!I use it in calm lakes, but won’t take it where there are rocks , I’m afraid to snag the bottomI do wish they had a little waterproof pocket inside to keep things, but a bought a pouch to solve that problem .

Perfect!
I love it! It’s everything I expected. I’m (was) a 5’4” 69-year-old woman, and I can carry it. My husband does a better job, however. The kayak handles well, it went over some rapids, it seems very stable. Since we travel half the year in a fifth wheel, it was the perfect solution since it floods up and stores in the belly of the camper.

Kayak gives freedom
This beautiful kayak gives me freedom. It is very well constructed and rugged. The seat is very comfortable and the kayak is steady, no tipping over. It weighs only 23 lbs and is easy to pick up. I used an inflator/compressor to do most of the inflating and then a bellows to do the final touch up.It holds the air well. I am super happy to have bought it.

Great for a casual user
Super happy with my purchase. In short: - 10 min from parking to getting into the water - plenty of leg space (I'm around 5' 9.5'') with room for a couple small items - seat is a nice little feature, as comfortable as you'd probably hope - straps on top also work great for your water bottleOnly kind of negative is that it doesn't seem to be the fastest thing on the water. My partner on her paddle board is always getting ahead of me if I'm taking it too easy. All in all I have no complaints.

Delivery via Prime was excellent I’m unable to transport a rigid and this seemed ...
Bought the lagoon1 via Amazon in May 2014. Came with oars, pump and life vest to get me on the water asap. Delivery via Prime was excellentI’m unable to transport a rigid and this seemed a good alternativeHave now used this seven times (for journies along tidal rivers, inland rivers / canals etc. with distances up to 10 miles). Five have been in group sessions where there has been a mixture of inflatables and fixed Canoes/Kayaks which enables me to compare against others. Have yet to see the same make and have had some interesting comments (all positive) concerning the size, portability etc.Good points include: Well constructed: easily pumped up and beats other inflatables by minutes: Light and easily fits in my small car: Turning good: stableBad points slow compared to rigids, Tends to skew left and right as your paddle although keeps a straight line: very little storage space and feet tight against the side chambers.Overall I’m most impressed and fully enjoyed my time out on the water.

Manejable y ligero
