Definitely Worth The Price!
I'm very pleased with this purchase. The product is very sturdy and very easy to adjust. I tried to save money by buying one of the knock-off stand but became very displeased shortly after I receiving it. I ordered the NETGEAR that same night! You definitely get what you pay for!

Great to use and easy to set-up
No walking dead creeping up to the house with out notification. These are truly fantastic and very easy to install and get on-line. Use it with my cell phone to watch and hear what's happening at home when I am a way. Can also monitor the dog and make sure he's not raiding the biscuit jar.

too expensive, but better quality than the cheaper ones
I bought a cheaper batch of mounts to hang my Arlos, but I didn't feel like the screw fit the camera very well and they just felt like a strong storm could knock them apart. This seems much sturdier in every way. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because I feel like the price was too high, I think they should be about $10 each not about $20. But I would recommend getting this rather than the cheaper ones if you live in an area that gets any kind of strong winds.

A great mount for outside mounting!!!
This mount makes it very easy to install your Arlo camera outdoors. I have mine mounted on a tree so I can get a great view of my front door. The only thing that would make this mount better is if in came in a camouflage pattern to blend in with the tree better but the black mount works okay.

Easy Install - Looks Great - Fully Adjustable
Identical to the white one that came in the kit, but in black, which matches the black skins we are using. Good anchor and mounting screws included. Easy to make small adjustments. If you are finding the first screw-on part of base gets in the way of installation, simply unscrew it all the way and remove it. Mount the base, then put the connector back on.

Battery died after one year, but otherwise a good and useful camera.
Three and one-half stars. I purchased multiple cameras, and they work OK. Very clear images during the day. At night, you are able to see images >10 - 15 ft. much better with an additional IR illumination light, or with an outdoor light that illuminates the surveillance area. The cameras can be quite sensitive to movement and noise. They do help secure the house and give me peace of mind, whether I am inside the house or away from it. One of the batteries died after almost exactly one year of use, after one or two recharges. I expected it to last a couple of years, at least. Disappointing, since the particular camera in which the battery was in was mostly turned off (via the phone app) about 60% of the time throughout the year, and the batteries are not inexpensive, as they are about one-third of the cost of the camera; but, otherwise I am satisfied with the overall utility of the cameras.

Great mount at a great cost!
These are built to last. They are a lot more expensive than other brands but I don’t want a $200+ camera laying on the ground because I saved $10 on the mount.

$30?!?!?!?! Netgear should be ashamed, it's a piece of plastic with a screw at the end to mount a camera...
Okay, it works, 1-2 stars it deserves only. But $30?!?!Here we go again with Netgear being SO GREEDY, that they take something that cost them, let's say, no more than $1 to manufacture (and that's probably a high estimate), a few cents to ship, and $7 to give Amazon their cut (yes selling on Amazon ain't cheap these days), and turn around, mark it up by like 900%!!! Okay, 300% if you factor in Amazon's fee. But you know in your heart of hearts this is too much to spend on something so simple. And I kind of knew that going into it, but I wanted to see, maybe if this had some special feature that made my cameras work more efficiently. Nope. A piece of plastic with a screw mount at the end... that's all.I bought only one, and for my second Arlo I cut Netgear out and bought this: Black Smart Security Wall Mount- Adjustable Indoor/Outdoor Mount for Arlo Cam and Other Compatible Models by DropcessoriesYes it feels cheaper than the Netgear one, but in about 300 years, future archaeologists will uncover my house at the bottom of the sea and I guarantee you both stands will be there sturdily holding my Arlo's. (That's factoring in if global warming does continue at the rate it does according to my Iphone news feed).I digress. There's really no reason to buy "the official Netgear base" when there are dozens alternatives out there starting at like, $7 that do the same exact thing. NO reason, I don't want to hear about, "oh well, it's got this thing that you can tighten and the..." Stop, take the blue pill and start saving money.... Coming from the guy that overpaid for the Arlo's in the first place, so I'm not sure how much credibility I am entitled to...
