Great For Piggies
One of my piggies didn't like eating the Vitamin C Supplements when they were a baby so my vet recommended these. He ate 1/4 of one every day until he finally started eating the regular Oxbow supplements. I keep a bottle in my home all the time now. Consult a vet before giving these to your piggy, rabbit, or other vitamin c dependent animal. Dosage varies based on many factors so always consult a vet before giving any medicine to a pet. These need to be kept in a cool dry place, too. If they get too hot they kind of melt into one another.

Great way for my guinea pigs daily Vit C
I've been cutting these up into quarters for my guinea pigs. It was recommended by their vet and since I have four pigs, each one has a quarter. Three of them took right to this at the start and the fourth one took a little convincing, but now she tries to get her piece greedily. At first I had to crush it up for her and give with some water mixed in a syringe.I also used these with a past guinea pig that had these mixed with her acidophilus when she was ill. Best way to verify she had gotten the Vitamin C at that time.

Kids eat them!
My kids (7, 5, and 2.5 yrs) all gobble these down and don't mind the flavor! One of the best values I've found for a kids chewable vitamin c! Love having a chewable option since they think liquid vitamin c is too sour.

100mg tablets, great for small pets, too!
Using these for our guinea pigs on a daily basis. Recommended by our veterinarian. 1/3 or half a tablet for a 2.5lb guinea pig. Less for smaller ones of course. We use 1/3 or 1/4 tablet for our adolescent ones, about 1.5lb to 2lb.Keep these in a cool place. Ours have seemed to melt a little in warmer rooms (76 to 80 deg. F). Probably keep them around 72 or lower. They will feel like they're damp if they start melting.

Just the right dosage for my needs. Tastes good.
Our veterinarian recommends using these Vitamin C tablets for our guinea pigs. No terrible ingredients for a guinea pig ;-) We use a pill cutter and cut each 100mg pill into quarters. We give each piggie a quarter tablet (or two) per day to avoid getting scurvy. Our piggies happily munch down the orange flavored tablets, and they taste great for humans too. We munch down 5 at a time when feeling a cold coming on....Priced right too! Ask your Veterinarian before feeding to your pets, please ;-)

Good for guinea pig health
My guinea pigs love these. I don't need to crush them up or hide them in anything. They'll just happily take them out of my hand and even beg for them in the morning.

Great for guinea pigs
Great for guinea pigs! 1/4 tablet a day to supplement vit c( you still need veggies of course) and for ill or vit c deficient pigs 1/2 tablet. Do Not dissolve these in water. Vit c is not water soluble and breaks down quickly rendering them useless and could cause dehydration. Just cut them up and feed them straight up.

Vet recommended
These tabs are the perfect size for guinea pigs and my herd loves them. They drop everything and run up to the cage begging for them when they hear the bottle shake. The other Vitamin C tablets that Thompson makes are much bigger and have to be broken up. These work out the best even for the picky piggies.
