Terrible
I don’t understand why these have good reviews; the only thing I can think is that people post their review too quickly and haven’t lived with them long enough to appreciate how terrible they are. I got these for under our kitchen cabinet. The battery only lasts 3-4 hours max and you’ll need three outlets to charge them all. Charge time for us has been overnight. Next, the magnetic strip is terrible. I prepped the surface before applying the strip yet it continues to peel right off. I’ve forgotten to write this review for some time now; what reminded me was the sound coming from my kitchen of the light falling off yet again. Why you ask? The strip sucks. The remote works half the time but the instructions didn’t cover all of the buttons on it so we have learned by trial and error. The most recent thing that’s been happening is that the cover over the bulbs has been coming off. Now that it’s fallen AGAIN it’s just time to trash them. I’ll remind you, this was 2 weeks ago that we hung them. Spend the extra money to get the good light strips. These are just a waste of time and money.

cheap
Wish I had not bought them. I needed light in my kitchen. Cannot get an electrician to come and install new lighting and have been using table lamps to add light to my dark kitchen. I bought two different sets of these lights. Not only do they fall down constantly but they do not provide nearly enough light to do anything, the motion sensors are disappointing, and they are just a huge fail for my kitchen. Way too small for enough light to help at all. What a waste of money.

Avoid!
Well they stopped working properly right after the return window. A few issues with them, not just one. They run out of battery very quickly, and don’t run out at the same rate. The constantly change modes from motion sensing back to always on/off and back to motion sensing for no reason. I suspect this is why the batteries keep draining at different rates. Lastly, one them fell off the cabinet because the sticky pad came loose. The cabinet I stuck it on was clean and flat. Not sure what happened. Really unhappy with this purchase.

If Just Better Sensitivity
I found much to like about these lights. I ordered the "warm" lower Kelvin lights and found them to be as I'd expected. The magnetic mounts work great for a light that you need to remove for charging, and they are quick and easy to set up. My disappointment came when I first tested them out. I had put one at the middle and one at the end of a dark hallway. I was surprised when I had to walk within a couple of feet of the first one before it lit. Thinking that maybe the sunlight lighting the room behind me at the end of the hall was disabling the light until I was near enough to shade it, I reset it to the "day" setting so that it would fire no matter the ambient light - but that made no difference. Still experimenting, I found that if I approached it slower, it would light at a greater distance - that there was an apparent lag to the trigger. The other light was more erratic. Sometimes it would work about the same as the first. Occasionally however, it wouldn't light until I waved my hand just inches in front of it. I'm going to switch it out replacing it with the light that hasn't been installed yet. Maybe it's just a lemon.I've looked over the instructions and have experimented with the remote, but I haven't discovered any way to adjust the sensitivity. If that was possible and the sensitivity could be increased, I feel they would be worth 5 stars.

Tape and sensor problems
I bought two packs of these and when they work, they are pretty bright and easy to use. I wanted to press the remote to turn them on and off and not use the motion sensor. Unfortunately, the magnet tape it comes with fell off even though it was installed correctly. I just glued them on after that. Further, the sensor changes modes on its own and I strongly considered returning. Never quite sure if they're going to turn on when I want.1 month update: they are just annoying. They always default to motion sensor and it kills the battery. I think I will have to take them down to charge once a month because otherwise they won't work when I need them. I have a bunch of them already and if this is the worst it gets, then I can manage. Simple take away: this is supposed to be a motion sensor only product and it will do that decently and automatically, run out of battery in a month or two and then you have to recharge them. Forget about the remote or the setting, just let them do their thing.

Battery life leaves a lot to be desired
Bought 3 packs of these to install in small closets that don't have any lights in them. Installation is a breeze with the sticky magnetic strips, but I've already had 2 of the lights fall down when the adhesive on the strips gave out. Instructions are pretty simple, and the motion detection is a tad delayed but still good. I wish they were brighter, but for the small closets they work perfectly fine. The only reason I docked it 2-stars is that the battery life on these are just disappointing. I've got them set up in closets that don't see a lot of use, but I find the batteries on them are drained after about 2 weeks with infrequent use. I'd probably look for something with better battery life next time...

GREAT LIGHTS! (with slight modification)
These lights work geat under the cabinets in my kitchen. They have a nice bright warm color and are the perfect solution for dark areas of my counters and in a closet. I do wish that the battery lasted longer, but battery life can be significantly improved by modifying the motion sensor. As others have pointed out, the lights sometimes come on when opening drawers or walking nearby. A simple solution is to cover part of the motion sensor and only leave what you want exposed. I did this with whiteout (liquid paper). I modified some by blocking off the front so only the rear half of the sensor would work. Those at the end of the counters I modified by blocking off one side as well.
