I purchase 2 of the Simple Home Carlton home office desks. My wife and I use the desks for our desk top iMac computers. The desk is 31 inches high which suits me perfectly. The standard desk is 30 inches, but the 31 inches is just a little more comfortable with an adjustable desk chair. The 42 inches in width is good for putting other supplies on the desk top. The desk is good looking and is very good quality. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble. We put glass tops on the desks to protect the wood top.

It took longer to get this out of the box then it did to assemble this desk. It has simple good looks and fits nicely in the corner of my living room.

I needed a small desk for a small sound/music studio (space is at a premium). I wanted dark brown wood (my wife says "espresso") to match the flooring. I needed a keyboard drawer. After looking through all the options in-stores and online, I settled on this one and am very happy with the unit. As others have stated, the wood is high quality, construction is solid. There are no "ugly sides" and the assembled unit is very sturdy (except for perhaps, the keyboard drawer). I think it took all of 5 minutes to put the legs on and I didn't even need a screwdriver to put the knobs on the drawer. Piece of cake.
