Easy install

My husband wanted this and it worked for exactly what he wanted it for, connection was easy.

Will withstand sideways rain with no problem due to the recessed twist lock connection on the bottom of the box. I purchased 2 and I'm happy with the purchase. I will have to paint one of them to protect it from the sun.

Installed as an outside plug for a generator. Works well, solid whether-proof design.

Great price and product. I really like that the inlet is at the bottom so when in use rain will not be a factor.

Purchased this item because the power chord inlet faces down, which is better for wet weather conditions. However, the product did not come with the rubber washer on the access cover flap, so its wet weather functionality is somewhat compromised. Not a show stopper, but it would have been better if it came with the washer as advertised. China quality control strikes again!

Worked out very well for my backup generator setup, the design is naturally water-shedding, it will never rust out. I prefer the way the plug faces downward.
