You know, I've got a pretty sensitive nose and four adorable dogs—so you can imagine the challenge! I decided to grab some mason jar lids to whip up some air fresheners using pet-friendly essential oils and those fun orbeez gel beads. I found some cute containers at the thrift store, like short crystal glasses, and set the lids right on top. I even recycled a few jelly jars for good measure! It turned out fantastic and didn't break the bank. Plus, I used some of the lids on mason jars filled with baking soda for the fridge. Honestly, it was such a great deal and worked just as I hoped. I wish I could buy a 6 pack, but the price point was still acceptable for 12. Totally 5 stars!

I am using these to hold my fridge/freezer baking soda in jars so I can refill them from a much larger bag of baking soda, which is cheaper than the fridge boxes they sell. It works great for that, and would be great for potpourri or other fragrance, or as a cap to anything you had in there for a display purpose. They are clearly not for holding actual food or anyhting that an leak or spill badly. The threading worked fine on by jars and they seem sturdy for what they are (you know../ having hols in them)

Perfect for smelly jelly!
