In Zeos we trust...Comfort monsters, audibly improves X2HR
Overall comfort improvement over stock pads that was even more notieceable with glasses on. Material is softer, foam actually contours and overall quality is miles above stock. Sound seems to be tighter and just like the Z-man says more "fun." If you're still on stock pads, stop, buy these and never look back.

Coming apart after 3 months…
These pads changed the sound profile a little bit but I got used to it. They were sort of comfortable but added much pressure to glasses. Then they started to come apart after only 3 months. Well guess I’m out of 50 bucks now. I installed the stock pads again and the glasses pressure is much better… it’s a toss up.. I thought I really liked these pads but now that I put the stock ones back on, I don’t really see the need to buy these aftermarket ones. Maybe if dekoni made some velour material pads? The memory foam is definitely bigger and softer on the dekonis, but I’m kinda liking the stock pads right now…

X3 Owners Beware: Great quality, not so great sound :(
I really wanted to like these. The pads on my pair of Fidelio X3's really are lint magnets, and with 2 cats in the house they need to be lint rolled constantly to stay looking halfway decent. Needless to say, I was looking for something that would offer the same comfort as the suede pads and maybe a little more bass. What I got was a great quality set of leather ear pads. BUT - these completely change the sound profile of the X3's, and not in a good way unfortunately. What you end up with is a much more closed sound stage, reminiscent of a closed back headphone - but with none of the sound benefits. Bass and low end details become muddy, and it's almost like you've got your hand cupped over your ears the way these distort the sound.I'm giving a 3 star because the quality is certainly there, but I can't recommend these after hearing them. I'll be keeping an eye out for a different set of pads, maybe in their perforated leather to see if that makes any difference.

Totally worth it once you EQ the difference
These change the sound! Not as much as other pads on the market but they add Base, mid Base, and remove some treble. This makes the headphones sound slightly muffled. Once you EQ this back (I added a peak at ~3kHz, a negative low shelf from 1kHz down, and a positive low shelf from 100Hz down) they sound wonderful and are very comfortable.Well made pads that look as though they'll last. If you're OK with EQ they are totally worth it, if you don't want to EQ and like the way the headphones sound with the stock pads I would pass on this.

Smooth and lush sound with great comfort
This is what the X2’s should have come with and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The sound gets a little warmer and the mids/highs feels a bit more intimate and less airy. Overall these pads makes the X2s feel a bit less open but the sound signature of these with stock pads isn’t particularly super wide anyway. Clamping force feels a smidge stronger because these do add a bit of thickness compared to stock but I find them comfortable for long sessions.

A great comfort upgrade
Installation was quick and easy. The previous pads pulled off fairly easy. Just need to be gentle. These pads Just push into place. I didn't see the extra hole shown on the back but that doesn't seem to matter. These new pads are soft and spongy. They add a great deal of comfort over the stock pads. I appreciate the deeper pas as well since it keeps my ears from touching the speakers. They seem to add a little bass but otherwise don't change the sound. I took off a star due to a indentation on one of the pads. Hopefully it goes away after time

Very comfortable while they last
Comfortable, installation is fairly easy . Problem is they only lasted 4 months before the glue let go on both pads and they started to fall apart. That is unacceptable for this price point ($50), would not recommend.
