rosendahl grand cru water carafe
It was unfortunate that the other buyer had a bad experience with this product. I almost hesitated to buy it because of her review. But I took a chance cuz i liked the way it looked. I LOVE this water carafe. It did not have the weird odor (lid) that the other buyer experienced. It's beautiful, sturdy and just heavy enough and although it arrived without the lid, as soon as i contacted the company, they sent the lid within a few days. Excellent customer service.

No lid…
I specifically was looking for a tea decanter with a lid for my husband. I saw this and thought it was cool and different and I looked to see if it had a lid, and it said it did even though none of the pics showed one. It arrived yesterday…and no lid. That’s why it gets 3/5 stars. Other than that, it looks just like the picture!

Lid seems more like protection from debris.
I think this is kind of a nice basic carafe, it's not anything too fancy, just pretty and functional permitting you don't need anything tip-proof of indestructible. The green color (sage-ish) is really pretty, matches neutral interior decor well. The size is great for daily hydration. The lid is almost kind of performative, but in a house with cats it's a blessing. Seal is rather not (might prevent small leak accidents but nothing approaching catastrophic). Has a nice form and shape for storage in the refrigerator door, it actually matches one of my water filter carafes pretty well so I feel like I'm developing a collection. It seems durable enough to withstand average use, I probably wouldn't trust it around kids or wildly accident prone people, but the neck provides a nice grip for handling and I don't feel like it's insecure. Overall pretty nice, I think solid pick if you want something in this aesthetic. Might be a little spendy but it is pretty.

Looks nice, handles nice
This is a nice light green carafe in class with a simple lid. The green band in the middle comes off for cleaning. This is a nice way to present liquids on a very refined table, and removing the lid is simple and easy. This will leak if pushed over sideways even with the lid. It is not really suitable for storage of things either. It lends a touch of class to your table and that is about it. This is good for olive oil and garlic, light salad dressings or other dispensable liquids. It just looks classy to me. My wife's only complaint is that it is one more thing to store, but I think it is refined, shapely and lends a beauty to a setting that more utilitarian pieces just cannot replicate. It is functional art in my opinion. Recommended to the discriminating host or hostess

Nice carafe
But not for the bedside like I'd hoped. The lid just sits on top, but doesn't seal or stay on if tipped. It's nice for a simple carafe.

Looks nice, don't like the lid...
The Rosendahl Grand Cru Recycled Water Carafe has a sleek and minimalist design that looks great on the table. I appreciate that it's made from recycled glass and comes with a bio-based plastic lid, which makes it a more sustainable choice. It also fits nicely in the fridge door, which is a plus. However, the lid doesn’t seal as tightly as I’d like. The glass, while stylish, feels a bit thin, making me question its durability. Overall, it’s a nice carafe for casual use (I only put water in it because of the lid seal), but it could be sturdier and more practical.

Good quality water crafe
This is a nice looking water container. It has a nice green color to the glass. The size is smaller but holds enough water for my person needs. Thank you.
