I absolutely love this and it is not a strong smell at all. I question this because so many people said it smell bad or strong it doesn't. I personally can't use herbal do to allergies and could not have tolerate a strong smell. It does have a mild smell but not to strong. And now to best part it is WELL MADE holds heat and make you feel so good. At first when you apply this it it warm and feels good but then 10 mins in Amen the warmth feels warm and Deep like it is get deep in to your muscles. And after you remove it you feel rejuvenated and less or no pain. I know it stay hot for more then 30 mins but have not timed it yet. And one final note I have searched and searched my Mother had a neck wrap that we have had for 20 year and could never find one that was a good as that. This is and I will be getting another for her. And was so Pleased after the first Application all I could say was YESSS finally I found the match to that one she has. What a treasure so really buy one and you will love it, I have a couple slipped discs in my neck and having this is key to relief from my pain and flare ups!!!!!! 😉🤗so worth the money as well really 🤑🤑

I've ordered this product many times over the last 7 or so years. When I received my recent order, the product is probably 1/2 the size as before (same price, though). Not nearly as comfortable since it's smaller and does not drape on the shoulders. Also, since it's smaller, heat doesn't last nearly as long. Very disappointed and doubt that I will ever buy one again.

I accidentally left my neck pillow at my vacation home. Since it was old I decided to just buy a new one. After reading some of the review about strong odor and other issues. I decided to just take a change as I couldn't find my previous brand. I'm glad I did, if fact I find it more comfortable than previous brand. Its very full and fat. The odor is very mild and barely noticeable and certainly not unpleasant. It's comfortable and retains heat well. It does take a while to heat though in my microwave 3 minutes. I also like the fact that in addition to curved around your neck, I will also will change shape straighten out for back pain as well. When I need another down the line, I absolutely would purchase this product again. It seems very durable and should last a long time. Although I did develop a small spit in stitching that I needed to restitch...otherwise is holding up well (I've had same issue in every neck pillow I've purchased all different brands and over years have owned 4.

We talk about the heat helping, but also, don't forget the weight!!! The 5 pounds supports the neck and relaxes posture stress. Well sewn, handy sturdy plastic bag keeps Pillow safe and clean between use. Don't settle for second best. This one won't wear out any time soon. Also, you can call with questions, and someone is actually there on the other end. So far, I have bought 5, two for me and 3 for family. No regrets. Believe me, these are habit forming. One of my daughters uses hers for cramps and tummy problems. This item is one of those that exclaim: "How did I ever live without it?" Sedate color allows you to wear it almost anywhere. If the pain is so uncomfortable, and you are in need of relief, you will.

This pillow is nice because the utilization of Flax seed gives off no smell (just a bit of a grain smell). It is microwavable or put it in the freezer for a cool pillow. The only draw back is that it is very heavy, therefore if you have injured your shoulders or neck it the weight tends to put a lot of pressure on those areas. Also note, this is not to be used as a wet heat pillow, only dry heat. It is durable and will last a long time as we have been using it for quite awhile now.

I previously had a pillow that looked similar to this one that I used for many years. I could microwave it and it would get really hot. It worked great on my neck. After many years, the pillow wore out and ripped so I bought this one as a replacement. This pillow, while it looks fine, does not get as hot as it should and doesn't work as well as others I've used. Unfortunately, there is a 30 day policy for returns and I waited too long so I'm stuck with it. Really disappointed in the product.

Indeed this is a sturdy and rather heavy neck pillow. For me, I really don't like the smell but still use it on occasion. I chose not to return it but it is not my go to for neck pilllows.

It may seem pricey but I feel the comfort this pillow offers has been worth it to me. I have 3 fused vertebrae in my neck & a 4th disc is bulging. The warmth of this pillow is so soothing & comfortable. I can wear it sitting at the computer, cleaning house or just about doing anything I want. I just tuck it under my shirt & away I go. For a real treat I relax in front of the TV. I used one of my knee high socks as a cover for it, a cheap but effective cover to keep it clean. Go for it - you won't be sorry. I don't notice a smell. Even if I did I'd keep it - it offers too much relief.
