Introduction to Physical Therapy for Physical Therapist Assistants: . 2nd Edition

I can say that we received the book before Oct. 3rd, and that wasquite amazing. The book belongs to my son who is studying to bea Physical Therapist Assistant, and had used the book in the libraryof the College for a written and oral report, and he had liked itvery much, and said his teacher was using it for reference in theclass. Then I purchsed it for him, and he is using it in Collegenow.

This book is an excellent resource for individuals entering the physical therapy field as a physical therapists assistant. I covers multiple clinical situations, the job descriptions of the physical therapists assistant, and describes the field of physical therapy as a whole and all whom is involved and what is to be expected. A very useful book and a good one to have on hand when having questions about the profession itself.

good source of information it holds a great deal of explanations that schools some times fail to miss as im a student of PTA i recommend this book totally!

It helped me in class to have a better understanding

The book is great however because i bought the kindle edition, i have to really search when trying to locate a certain page my instructor wants us to read. In my class she may say, "page 34 box 2" at which point i have to sear h for key words to find what she wants us to read. I love the convenience of carrying my kindle around instead of aton of books.

I'm a Massage Therapist getting ready to enter a PTA program, so this is a required course. The book is interesting enough, but I find most of the information redundant due to the fact that I am already in the field. Just getting through the course. The book is written and presented well. I didn't have a problem understanding some of the language, but for a complete novice it may not give clear, concise explanations on some of the modalities and therapies. Not really sure.

This book came in very handy for the PTA classes in which I'm currently enrolled. I would highly recommend this as resource for anyone who is pursuing a physical therapy related degree.
