This tape is waxy and stretchy. It has no holes but is permeable to air. It is used to cover burn injuries but grafters like it because it keeps moisture out but lets air in.

Q: When you don’t need it any longer can it be easily removed from an object ?

I use it for grafting plants. It can't be reused after sealing it for a long period.

Q: I don't want the end result to look like I used a square sheet. Can I sckoosh this up in my hands then apply it manually?

Parafilm is a flexible film. You can stretch it into a number of shapes to meet your application. If you roll it up into a ball then it will be difficult to undo.
