Kids love them.....so far.
I got these for my daughters for Christmas who are 5 and 4 respectively. The scooters were a big hit with both my girls. What liked about them is that they are very easy to put together. Razor actually sends you a "multitool" which is basically a hex wrench and a Philips screwdriver in one. It's nice that they included the tool that you need to put the scooter together. That being said, it is not very useful and unwieldily. I'm glad that they included it so kudos to Razor for doing so. I would suggest using a regular screwdriver instead as it is much easier. My girls both love the scooter. I will have to agree with some of the other reviews that I don't like how Razor has tried to incorporate the ability to turn using positioning. With young children who are learning to use a scooter for the first time and probably don't have their balance down it is not very useful. That being said, my girls have not had too much of an issue. They end up going the wrong way and get off the scooter and reposition themselves.Obviously this is the first day after getting it, so it remains to be seen if this becomes an issue or not.The only other issue I found was I got two scooters and the green and blue one for some reason did not have two screw holes drilled out. It was easily fixed with a drill bit, but it was more work to do when you have anxious and impatient children wanting to try out their new Christmas gifts. I would suggest that Razor have more detailed QC.All in all the scooters are well built and I have not found any concerns and I think they are a great buy for the price.I will post an update to this review in a few months.

ok to put together but very difficult to steer for my 3 year old--the steering is side to side, not actually turning and that maneuver makes her fall off the scooter. would have returned it but it seemed too big of a hassled to disassemble and repackage.

Easy Assembly and Very Sturdy!
My three year old loves this scooter. He zips all over the sidewalk and has a very easy time turning it and pushing it.It was very easy to assemble. It was literally like five screws to assemble the whole scooter. It comes with the necessary screwdriver and allan wrench to get the job done. It took me maybe 5 minutes to un-package the whole thing and assemble it for my son to start using. So far it seems like it will hold up well. The plastic doesn't flex under the weight of my son. He's tried several plastic scooters where the middle part flexed with his weight and even scraped the road. (This makes it sound like my son is heavy but he's not. He is 33lbs).The grips are nice in that they don't spin when force is applied. I hate the scooter handles where they can spin, especially when they're a little wet. I don't need my son going to stop or something and have the handles spinning or pulling off. So five stars on the handles :)I can't complain about the price point on this scooter. I feel like it was a great deal compared to all the other scooters I was looking at. This one was half of the cheapest ones I was researching out. I ultimately went with this scooter based off price and the overall reviews. I would highly recommend this scooter to anyone looking for a decent scooter under $30.

Don't buy this! It is a awful.
This thing is terrible. Do not buy it. I read the reviews before I made the mistake of purchasing this scooter and none of them expressed how terrible it truly is. If they had, I wouldn't have wasted my money. My daughter is 3. A year ago we bought her a cheap Huffy scooter on Walmart.com to ride around the sidewalks and on the playground. It was a genuine struggle for her because it didn't roll fluidly, plus it had one wheel in the front and two in the back, so her kicking foot kept hitting one of the back wheels. Soon we noticed that all of the kids zipping around on scooters had the same kind. It had two wheels in the front and one wheel in the back. I told my wife repeatedly "get me the brand name of those scooters!" Naturally, she didn't do that, but found this Razor thing on Amazon and said "that must be it, because it has two wheels in the front and one wheel in the back." Even though I suspected something was off, I ordered this thing and, when it arrived, immediately noticed how cheaply it was constructed. This was not entirely surprising, given its price, but it was just remarkably poorly built, even compared to the cheaper Huffy I was replacing. My daughter was super excited to see her new scooter, but one attempted ride with it was enough that she never wanted to see it again. It is virtually impossible to steer, with almost no turn radius. It is also virtually impossible to ride straight, as it is constantly tipping to one side or the other. She was sad, and that made me sadder that I had disappointed her by purchasing this worthless piece of plastic, and that I had thrown more money away on a second, insufficient scooter. Fortunately, my wife saw another local mom selling the CORRECT brand of scooter via Facebook and we were able to pick that up at a similar price (used) to what we wasted on this thing. For the record, the good scooter is a brand called Micro Kickboard and there is a reason that every kid on the playground has one. They cost more, but they're well worth it.

which I found made it very easy for my three year old to get the hang ...
Such a smoking deal made our summer! I got this on the warehouse deals rather than full price. It may have been missing a nut or I couldn't tell if it was one of those instructions that are supposed to cover more than one model, but I made it work. The way it steers is by leaning into the direction that you want to go, which I found made it very easy for my three year old to get the hang of it in no time! Even if she hit a bump and fell, she got right back up again. Easiest way for her to recover from a trip is to just immediately let go of the handles as it starts to fall/tilt over, and then she can just kinda step hop over them as they hit the ground without taking her with it, just a heads up in case you've got bumpy sidewalks or potholes

Not worth it
Not the best quality but I guess this is what you can get for the price. The wheels being in plastic it doesn't ensure a smooth ride. And I was very disappointed not to see a break: I would have known this detail I wouldn't have bought it. The best: mini micro scooter by Micro from Switzerland. It costs double but your kid will enjoy the wonderfully smooth and quiet ride with a back break.

and not easy to use for a toddler
No did not meet my expectations, as it is so wiggly even when not moving, and not easy to use for a toddler.Purchased it for my 3 years old daughter and wish I purchased another razor model
