Great and affordable product
This is a very high quality and affordable bedding for my Syrian hamster. I like how soft and mostly dust free it is. It also helps keep most of the odor away.

Pros And Cons~ Kaytee Clean And Cozy Natural Small Animal Bedding
I have thought out all of the pros, and cons of this bedding for you to read. I have also included images of my cage with the bedding, and another type of bedding (I mention it in the review) So, enjoy. Pros- -This bedding is the safest option out there for hamsters. They have very small, sensitive respiratory systems so using Pine, or Cedar shavings (And other bedding) can be unsafe. This is not one of those colorful, or scented beddings, which I like. -It’s cheaper! You can buy this bedding in multiple different quantities, all of which are priced differently. This bedding is cheap for the great quality, though. I use subscribe and save, and it’s definitely worth it. -This bedding does the job. Hamsters poo, pee, and make messes. That’s why it’s important to have a bedding that’s absorbent, not so stinky, and easy to clean. This bedding is a lot more absorbent than Aspen shavings (Safe wood shavings, which I also use. I use the Kaytee Aspen.) so, if your hamster pees or poops on it, it doesn’t make the whole cage wet and icky. It doesn’t completely lock all the Oder from the pee, but it does help. I spot clean my hamsters cage often though, so no biggie. And, usually when I do a full cage cleaning, it’s pretty easy to clean up. It’s not dusty, or fine. It’s easy to pick up, and plop into a trash bag. I usually then get any extra bits and bobs with a mini dust pan and brush. -This bedding is very easy to use. I just talked about cleaning up, so what about setting it back up? Also very easy. It comes in a bag type, and when you pull a big chunk out it’s a bit like a brick. (Not hard though. It’s just all tightly packed together) And so, what you do is just break it apart in your hands and fluff it up. -It’s so fluffy! This bedding is very fluffy and soft. Wether you have a litter of hamsters, or just in need of a soft and fluffy bedding, this is the one. My hamster is a long haired Syrian, so his fur tends to get matted. What I’ve noticed is that this bedding really helps prevent that. It doesn’t get so tangled up. I’ve never had new baby hamsters before, so not sure about that. I suppose it should be good? Cons- -Although it is soft and fluffy, I recommend an aspen bedding for things that are heavy. I used to only use this bedding, and it wasn’t very good under my hamsters wheel, or heavy hides. That’s why I now use aspen on some parts of the cage, and this bedding on others. I use aspen under my wheel, and heavier hides. -If your hamster likes to burrow, I totally recommend this. Although, my cage is barred, now glass and he tends to kick a lot of bedding out. It slips through the bar spaces, and makes quite a mess. I do have to vacuum a lot. -This bedding can have mites, so be careful! All food, and bedding can have bugs or mites. That’s why I recommend leaving it in the freezer before use for about 2 days. This will prevent anything from keeping alive. (Well, your little furry friend will be alive, but not those bad buggies) All in all, I definitely recommend this bedding as part of your cage. I most definitely recommend you also use the Kaytee Aspen bedding too, though. You will find both very useful in their own ways. If you wanna get this bedding, but aren’t sure buy it now! Your money isn’t being wasted.

Great absorption and long lasting
This has worked out awesome for my bunny. It's a large bag, great absorption and lasts a long time in between. So less frequent cage cleanouts

Great - bedding for colony of 7
I rescued 2 young injured deer mice sometime last year who were found under my neighbor's house, and as it turned out one was a pregnant female, and so I ended up with a colony of 7! I have two LARGE enclosures, one with 3 (in-tact) males and one with 4 females. (mouse lovers, take a breath and don't worry! Deer mice are more communally adaptive than fancies/house mice and are generally not aggressive towards other males, & my mice are under constant surveillance via HD camera so I know for certain there is no aggression amongst them, & should there ever be I'm prepared to separate! ♥) This is the only bedding I use. I started using this bedding when me and my partner were really struggling financially, but I see no reason to change even if we could afford more "top shelf" things. This is the least expensive option I have found for the amount of bedding changes I have to do in order to keep my mice's homes healthy for them and provide them the kind of depth/volume to their bedding that they deserve for their enrichment and burrowing activities. This bedding is absorbent, comfortable, and soft. It's everything the description says it is. It even holds a shape nicely for tunnels and burrows! As a keeper of a lot of stinky mouses, this is a great product!! :D

Better bedding for guinea pigs
I bought this because it was the best price. I'll be buying it again in the future. It works better for guinea pigs than the other brands I've been buying. Great stuff! Shred is smaller. Almost like torn paper bags. You don't even see the mess, it's hidden and absorbed between changes. I change at least every other day. The Other stuff is large lumps, probably better for a larger animal. I'm glad I know now!
